• Individual Rights
The American people should pass an Amendment to our US constitution, reaffirming that every citizen has the right to pursue Life, Liberty, and Happiness....and that each and every citizen shall not be discriminated against for so-called "victimless crimes" that do infringe upon any other citizen's right to do as they please.

  • Free black, non violent inmates with habitual offender, or similar statutes, based on pre 1980s c...
Prior to the 1980s, it was virtually impossible for a black person to get a trial before their peers, many admitted to crimes they didn't commit, rather than face these juries, so why have them incarcerated now, many for life, based on those convictions. The facts are clear, black people were seldomly seen on college basketball teams in the South, before the mid 1970s.

  • American Pledge
If you are an American citizen you should honor your right to vote by voting, and each of us should pledge to do so. We should also send a message to candidates that our vote means something because we will only vote for a candidate who pledges to place his constituents' will and needs above party ideology, special causes and the influence of lobbyists and donors.

  • EEOC
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission doesn't take complaints seriously! I have a complaint that has been basically ignored since filing...The Commission is in with the same companies that are reported to them, thus invalidating the seriousness of the complaint.

  • Sen. Brown: Condemn Howie Carr's offensive article
On Wednesday, Howie Carr, a conservative talk radio host wrote an offensive column for The Boston Herald entitled "White and Wrong: On the reservation with Elizabeth Warren". Here are just a couple of the unbelievable quotes from the column: "The race card—like so many others, Barack Obama never leaves home without it. " "Maybe someday [Warren will] even smokum peace pipe with Tim Geithner. " See the article here: http://bostonherald.com/news/columnists/view.bg?articleid=1061128614 Carr's article insinuates that President Obama and Elizabeth Warren did not earn their positions at Harvard Law. Also, that it goes so far as to infer—that any person who identifies themselves as a person of color and holds a position of power, that they only did so by playing the "race card". We all know that political campaigns get ugly. We shouldn't expect the contest between Elizabeth Warren and Scott Brown to be an exception. But dragging out despicable stereotypes and denigrating whole groups of people goes way too far. Instead of stoking the fires of this hate-filled story, the Brown campaign needs to focus on the issues. That's why I created a petition on SignOn.org to Senator Brown, asking him to make it clear that he wont give silent approval to these kinds of attacks.

  • Stop Navajo, Hopi genocide: Oppose the Kyl bill
The bill would give water rights that currently fall under native control to the power industry, and leave huge portions of both Navajo and Hopi peoples without any water access. They will have no way to water livestock, meaning that this bill will be a death sentence for thousands of sheep, goats, horses, and cows. Their way of life and livelihood depends on sheep, so this bill is an act of genocide.

  • Celebrate a Culture Go Native
Through the month of November, celebrate all Native Americans. Through them the country was open. "The first peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within the souls of people when they realize their relationship, their oneness with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize that at the center of the universe dwells the Great Spirit, and that this center is really everywhere, it is within each of us."

  • Elections should be held on Saturdays
It is way past time for elections to be held on Saturdays, not Tuesdays, for it allows poor voters a better opportunity to get to the polls. It is far more difficult for low-level workers to get off during the middle of the work week, and farmers and ranchers no longer need the few days it used to take to go the polls. Today, with the right wing doing all it can to disenfranchise voters with new voter ID laws, it is high time to change election day to Saturday.

  • The Elephant and the Donkey in the Living Room
Karl Menninger said an accurate diagnosis can greatly enhance a cure. We need a cure, but few are suggesting the diagnosis. We all are greedy beyond bounds. The crime of hoarding is not a crime until you are caught. The crime of huge bonuses, unseemly pensions, fraudulent practices leading to personal ruin are rampant. A beginning would be a combination of Bill Daley and Warren Buffett's amendments---a four-year term limit for representatives, period, and then to receive social security and medicare as a benefit, no consulting or working for corporations with which you wrote legislation. The income tax code would be rewritten to reflect a concern for the human infrastructure and the communal infrastructure.

  • STOP SB 2109 Navajo-Hopi Little Colorado River Water Rights Settlement Act
The Bill SB 2109 would require the Navajo and Hopi Tribes to relinquish future claims over water quality and loss of traditional springs, to waive their priority Water Rights to the surface waters of the Little Colorado River. In return the promise is of uncertain federal appropriations to supply minimal amounts of drinking water. It also denies the Tribes the economic market of value of their water rights, and force them to dependence on uncertain federal funding of any water projects. See attached video for more information. Please call Senators John McCain (202) 224-2235 and Jon Kyle (202) 224-4521 and Representative Ben Quale (602) 263-5300, requesting them to withdraw SB 2109.
