• Cancel Saudi Dictator Event in New York
On September 23, 2019, Saudi Arabia's brutal crown prince Mohammad Bin Salman is holding a preposterous event in New York City. No one should attend. The Saudi dictator's personal charity will host U.N. officials, VIPs, and several hundred youth at the New York Public Library. Attending youth will supposedly learn how to "balance purpose with profit." (1) This is the same Saudi dictator who has: - slaughtered thousands of people in Yemen, - murdered dissident Jamal Khashoggi, and - imprisoned and tortured women's rights activists. Why should anyone be learning about "purpose" from a charity run by Saudi Arabia's dictatorship? To make matters even more ridiculous, VIP attendees include: - the granddaughter of Jacques Cousteau, Alexandra Cousteau; - Paul Polman, the former CEO of Unilever; - Bart Houlahan, cofounder of B Lab; - Jayathma Wickramanayake, the UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth; - Andrew Corbett, Professor at Babson College; and - Ann Rosenberg , Senior Vice President for UN Partnerships at SAP. (2) (3) How did any of these people think this was a good idea? Were they paid to participate? If so, how much? All UN officials and VIP guests should drop out immediately. No one should be helping a Saudi dictator use charity events to wash away their crimes. Journalist James Reinl has written extensively about this event in articles for Middle East Eye, Inter Press Service, and Inside Over. • Stop another France sponsored Genocide in the Former British Southern Cameroons now.
There is an ongoing Rwanda style Genocide again and still supported by France using the Republic of Cameroon, against the peace-loving and self-determined people of the Former British Southern Cameroons, aka, Ambazonia: Most world leaders know about it, but are looking the other way. Thousands have been killed. Villages razed. Millions in Refugee Camps in Nigeria and hundreds of thousands Internally Displaced. Millions in the bushes. Children unable to go to good schools to learn about tomorrow's skills. Where are the WORLD and HUMANITY? Never Again We Said...and it's unfolding before our own very watch. Where is the Pope and Men of Faith? God Help Us stop this.

  • @SpeakerPelosi: Send @RepRoKhanna to the conference to end the Yemen war
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has a historic opportunity to end the famine-causing Saudi war in Yemen. The House has passed the Adam Smith - Ro Khanna Yemen War Powers amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that would end all U.S. participation in the war. The House and Senate have both passed the Sanders-Lee-Murphy Yemen War Powers Resolution. The House and Senate have both voted to cut off U.S. arms shipments to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for the war. All Speaker Pelosi has to do now to end the war is insist that the House-Senate conference on the National Defense Authorization Act include provisions to end the war that both the House and the Senate have voted for. Here is a specific, concrete way that Speaker Pelosi can show her commitment to the goal: she can make Rep. Ro Khanna, the original sponsor of Yemen War Powers, a conferee in the House-Senate negotiations on the NDAA. Urge House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to send Rep. Ro Khanna to the conference to end the Yemen war by signing our petition.

  • CNN: Prioritize Foreign Policy at the debates next week
In the 2016 primary debates, Democrats were asked on average approximately 2 questions per debate on Foreign Policy. On the other side, Republicans were asked on average over 5 questions per debate on Foreign Policy. Foreign Policy is a core fear-mongering tool of the Republican Party––from ignoring climate change and its global implications to demonizing immigrants and Muslims or instilling the fear of "terrorism" and war. If we want a Democratic president in 2020, Democratic candidates must learn how to answer and argue on behalf of progressive foreign policy principles and stances. Just this week, Donald Trump said that he could kill 10 million people in Afghanistan if he wanted to. In previous months, he has cut off humanitarian aid to Palestine, threatened Iran with war, and increased military presence at the US-Mexico border. Democrats, media, and debate hosts can't keep pushing this issue under the rug in the hopes that it will go away. It won't. Sign the petition to CNN if you agree that it's time to seriously address Foreign Policy and all the implications it brings to our domestic policies––including increasingly militarized police and a bloated pentagon budget––on the debate stage next week.

  • USA must join International Criminal Court
George W. Bush and his White House committed war crimes, including the greatest war crime of all, starting a war of choice. Yet these people are still free, and one of them (Bolton) is trying his best to repeat his crimes on a grander scale.

  • Stop war against Iran!
preventing war with Iran The current rhetoric against Iran sounds alarmingly similar to how the Bush regime spoke about Iraq With Iran shooting down a U.S. drone that they say was in their airspace and trump reaction we are going to that direction and we need to stop the war. a war between the U.S. and Iran would be “catastrophic” for the Middle East

  • Reduce Military Spending
The U.S. allots over half our discretionary spending to the military. This encourages war and deficit spending while taking resources from higher priorities like environmental restoration, healthcare and education. This must be reversed.
