Representative Duncan Hunter must resign immediately. Recently, Duncan spoke publicly about participating in the shooting of civilians while in combat and has defended the actions of other service members accused of war crimes. He did not do this by stating that they were innocent, but instead that the war crimes themselves were not significant. This is abhorrent. Not only that, but Duncan Hunter has also been accused of using his campaign funds for personal use, including paying for his children's school tuition, taking overly lavish vacations, and to fund at least five extramarital affairs. Duncan Hunter used his campaign funds to pay for Uber rides, hotels, and drinks for five separate relationships he was maintaining outside of his marriage. This is absolutely egregious. Duncan Hunter's affronts to the public do not stop there. He has made blatantly Islamophobic comments against his former opponent in 2018, making wild, unfounded, and racist claims that the Democratic nominee for the seat was tied to what Hunter considers extremist Muslim groups. This man has no business serving in the U.S. Congress. I have lived in Representative Hunter's district for 15 years, and I do not want my Congressman to be someone who casually dismisses serious ethical breaches like firing upon civilians during combat, using campaign funds to pay for his personal needs and extramarital affairs, and using fear-mongering and Islamophobic comments to win. Duncan Hunter should resign from office immediately.

Our traditional celebration honored our country. I don't want trump to cheapen our legacy of a free country and further deface the licoln memorial by speaking about himself. President lincoln sought to unite america not divide it as trump has done. If we turn off his shameful appearance , he will lose most of his audience and not get the attention he constantly craves. The media might take note and perhaps help us achieve a greater number signatures from people who agree.

In light of current news of nation-state interference in US elections, every state has the responsibility to safeguard its entire election process against rigging, hacking and computer errors. According to election security experts, only hand marked paper ballots, robustly audited by publicly witnessed hand counts, can protect our elections by catching tallying errors - whether due to rigging, hacking or computer error - after the fact. New York currently has no reliable path to 100% hand count, which courts have prevented even in very close elections (e.g. Johnson v. Martin, Nassau County, 2010). Currently, NYS law allows vendors to choose which voting machines to submit for certification. We need to establish an RFP process and outlaw voting machines that can print over voter-marked or voter-approved ballots - the only ones vendors are currently submitting for certification! And we need to establish a right to recount like 43 other states have in close elections or upon candidate- and voter-petition initiative. Otherwise, our elections are invitations to riggers and hackers. And now the courts have ruled that voters and reporters can’t ever see the ballot images - the photos taken by our scanners - because they must be preserved and therefore can’t be FOILed for two years - after which they can be destroyed! That must be reversed by legislation. Public display of ballot images would be a way for voters to verify for ourselves the accuracy of the computer count.

Since the creation of the amendment, women have been taking advantage of their rights. They make obscure comments about men, and worst of all, they have created feminism.

I believe that big money in politics is the root of most of the problems in our democracy.

Having heard Michael Cohen's testimony wherein he stated he does not believe that President Trump will allow a peaceful transition and having heard Trump's statements about rigged elections and unauthorized voting we need public reassurance that President Trump will accept the results of the 2020 presidential election. We also need to know that everyone in the House and Senate will stand up for our democratic process and make it clear that we should accept the results of the vote and not allow it to be called into question either before or after.

The citizens of Perkins Oklahoma that enjoy setting off fireworks want the city commission to rescind ordinance 474, an ordinance that bans the use of fireworks within city limits. We have been setting off fireworks for years. The city commission stated some reasons behind ordinance 474. The city commission stated that litter was one reason for banning fireworks. You can drive down several roads in Perkins and see litter on the sides of the roads during times that citizens aren't using fireworks. Another reason the city council used was safety. Chief Barta, the Fire Chief of Perkins said in a city council meeting that "in his 25 years he didn't believe there had been any structure fires or medical calls related to fireworks." Only a few grass fires. Another reason was veterans with PTSD and the effect fireworks have on them. We know hundreds, if not thousands of veterans with PTSD that aren’t bothered by fireworks. We want the emergency ordinance 474 rescinded. If the city commission chooses not to rescind their decision, we the citizens of Perkins want this matter voted on by the citizens and the results finalized by June 14th.

Attorneys must have access to clerk's files. Attorneys are expected to know what is in the clerk's files. Attorneys are permitted to rely on subpoenas filed by the opposing party. And, yet, we cannot always see what has been filed. The paper clerk's files do not always reflect what has been e-filed. The county court at law judges do not always have online access to the motions and proposed orders that have been e-filed, and e-filed motions do not always make it into the paper files. There is a gap between technological ability and access. As the District Clerk has software that permits attorney access to clerks records online, there is no reason why the county clerk webpage should not permit the same access. We ask for attorney access to the county clerk's files through the county clerk's website.

Voters of the United States and its territories pay taxes to cover expenses of elected members of the House of Representatives and Senate. to included salaries, travel, offices, etc. After hearing from Special Counsel Mueller today, I believe he tried to encourage all Americans to be proactive to ask the individuals we pay to protect our country especially with as we will hold primary and general elections in calendar year 2020. All Americans - whether we vote or not - should hold our Senators and House Members responsible to spend our tax dollars wisely, read the entire report issued by Special Counsel Mueller and his staff, and act to protect our Constitution - not their political party or self-interests. I would appreciate a Congress that works collectively to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States," lead the world as a sound democratic nation, and leave a better country and world for future Americans. Has your House Member or Senator read the complete report? Has the candidate for any vacant seats in the House of Representatives read the entire report?

We've all got the same excuses. We've all heard the excuses. We're all financially strained, we're all barely making ends meet, we don't have time to protest. I propose that on the 4th of July, if you believe that Donald J. Trump has committed impeachable offenses and Congress has failed to act, you divert all income, not necessary for shelter or food, to protected holdings until such time as Congress has completed the impeachment process. In summary: We, the American people, will stop participating in the economy except as necessary to provide food and shelter for ourselves and our communities.
