We have had evidence that our electronic voting machines are not secure, and Secretary of State Brian Kemp seems unlikely to do his job to make the necessary changes state-wide. FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb surprised everyone when he announced that the FDA is considering banning terms like "almond milk" on the labels of plant-based milks. Why? “Almonds don’t lactate,” he quipped. He was only half-kidding: it really does come down to lactation. For years, there’s been a standard on the books that specifies that the word milk must refer to the lacteal secretions of a cow. It’s always been the rule that you can’t put the plain-old unadorned label milk on almond milk, soy milk, or even goat’s milk. But now Big Dairy is seeing its sales plummet while almond, soy, oat, and other plant-based milks gain market share. So dairy lobbyists have taken the position that the FDA should ban the word "milk" from plant-based labels altogether, even when it appears after the words almond, soy, or oat. How can the Republicans think that there is no action going on with the upcoming election. We need to let them know they are at risk of being voted out of their position.

My husband died recently and his social security income was cut off immediately, reducing my household income in half and leaving me with a 3,000 a month mortgage. I was informed that I am not eligible for his social security survivor's benefits because I receive teacher's retirement. Others who receive retirement benefits from other sources are entitled to social security, but not public servants. The rules should apply to everyone. Electronic voting machines are easily hacked and we are currently under attack from a variety of outside influencers. We need to protect our right to vote and we need to ensure that our votes remain unmolested.

There is no reason for this action to take place, the impeachment of Rod Rosenstein. As stated by Trey Gowdy, Congressman and head of the Oversight Committee for the U.S. House of Representatives, there is no reason for impeachment. Let Congress do its job and not someone elses. The current president, Donald Trump, creates emotional contagions of bigotry, hate, racism and hostility towards his own people and U.S. allies abroad. A leader does the exact opposite of those firmly held beliefs that Donald Trump promotes.

Already, there are a total of 11 confirmed investigations into Zinke’s corruption. This shows that at a minimum, Members of Congress should be asking Zinke hard questions about his potential ethics violations, as well as his relationships to the fossil fuel industry and other giant corporations. Our public lands and the communities who depend on them are at stake. We can't let Zinke get away with this corruption.

Inviting all candidates on the ballot is a matter of fairness to the voters. Voters deserve a chance to evaluate, and compare, all nominees on the ballot.
