They are attempting to damage or destroy the investigation into the 2016 elections which have proven to be racked with criminal behavior up to at least the Trump family if not Donald Trump himself and likely includes some Assembly members and senators. We must protect the integrity of this investigation until it comes to its conclusion and all involved people are punished and if currently in office they are removed. We must protect our nation from all who wish to destroy it.

Food trucks are being asked to get permits/inspections from health departments and now fire marshals in every county/ territory/town in Virginia... This is costly for a tiny food truck vendor - specifically in the NOVA area (even DMV for that matter) who travels multiple zones for their business. For example, a NOVA food truck could go to Loudoun, Fairfax, Alexandria, Vienna, and Arlington all within a weeks time to vend food. For every permit - a great deal of time and money is spent (hundreds of dollars on each permit). The costs and bureaucracy involved are a heavy burden for the tiny food vendor - it set's up the small business to fail. We ask for 1 permit for the entire NOVA region that allows Food Trucks to vend freely. 1 permit that works for all fire marshalls and health departments across all zones. We need a universal code for the area that allows food trucks to do business across the region - without the worry of fines. (because they don't have this sticker for Arlington and this paper from Loudoun doesn't work in Fairfax etc... ) 1 Permit for the NOVA region eliminates multiple yearly inspections and costs. Please change the law and allow us to do what we do best - make delicious food affordable and easily available for the consumer.

Congress is enabling Trump's efforts to obstruct the Mueller investigation at a time when Mueller has just announced the indictment of Russian Military /Government actively tried to interfere with our election.

The Department of Justice indicted 12 Russian intelligence officers for interfering with the 2016 US Presidential election. Russia is responsible for this attack on US democracy and Donald Trump's continued defense of and open alignment with Vladimir Putin -- a demonstrable murderer, tyrant, and enemy of democracy -- is grounds for impeachment. Trump praises Putin and meets with him on foreign soil while discrediting and ignoring our own intelligence agencies that have shown Putin launched an attack on our last election and is planning to do it again. Meanwhile, Trump's White House eliminated its top cybersecurity position and Trump continues his campaign to discredit and undermine news outlets that report the truth. House Democrats Steve Cohen (TN), Luis Gutiérrez (IL), Al Green (TX), Marcia Fudge (OH), John Yarmuth (KY), Adriano Espaillat (NY), and Brad Sherman (CA) have already introduced articles of impeachment. If Donald Trump continues to provide aid and comfort to a foreign enemy and flout American democracy by meeting with Putin, their fellow House members must sign on to these Articles of Impeachment and demand the Judiciary Committee begin impeachment hearings.

The Mueller probe just indicted 12 Russians for hacking during the 2016 election cycle. As Jake Tapper pointed out on Twitter, this is in addition to the 79 criminal charges already filed against 20 individuals and 3 companies, including Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort who is currently in jail for obstruction of justice and witness tampering. Trump and the White House cannot go forward with private meetings with Putin while the intelligence community has so clearly indicated that Russia is a threat to our democracy. Please sign the petition before it's too late.

There are people who want Trump impeached and that would be devastating for our country!

On July 3, the Senate Intelligence Committee, led by North Carolina Senator Richard Burr, released a report agreeing that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election in Donald Trump's favor. Depending on how successful that interference is, we may not have a legitimate sitting president. If that is the case, Trump should not be able to name a lifetime appointee to the highest court in the United States. A Supreme Court justice has great power to change people's lives, and no justice should be confirmed when the presidential election is in question. I'm calling on Senator Burr to recuse himself from the confirmation vote on Brett Kavanaugh until we know the extent of Russia's interference.

There was a petition presented to the Siskiyou County Planning Commission urging them to deny a permit for the Jefferson Center for the Arts. This could be quite an obstacle, even though there were only 57 signatures. Let us show that many more want the JCA to exist.

Too many allegations against Republican officials have been overlooked by this Congress. It is time for this to stop.

The President's meetings with foreign leaders should be recorded for history. He is working for us, he is not a king, and the American people have a right to know what he is saying to foreign leaders.

This is the fastest legal way of removing Trump from office. No federal actions could prevent New York from bringing justice to a major tax cheat.
