I am outraged that a public servant with great integrity and honor has been fired TWO days before he was to receive his pension simply because of the President's injured ego and his desire to further obstruct justice in the Russian investigation.

Dr. Carson is totally inexperienced in his cabinet position. He is over-spending his limited furniture budget like a private corporation, not a govt. agency.

Deadline is probably early April. If the Senate confirms Gina Haspel, then we as a country are condoning torture. I have three cousins who I know died at the hands of the Nazis, and a very dear cousin who barely escaped. As citizens, our responsibility is to convince our representatives to vote against racism and torture.

Why now?  18% increase in distracted driving fatalities from 2014 to 2015.  1 in 4 crashes involves distracted driving.  1 in 5 traffic fatalities involves distracted driving.  Distracted driving is now the fourth most common contributing factor in fatalities behind speed, impairment, and fatigue.

We have all been affected by the constant news cycle of trying to expose any undue influence of our elected and appointed officials from domestic or foreign powers. Some affirm, some deny. It is tearing our country apart. All this could have been avoided by the current president releasing his tax returns up front, as has been the case for the past 40 years. Passing these bills is one way to demand transparency to restore faith in our government and start to bring the country back together

I'm an U.S. Army veteran. I remember what happened at the Abu Ghraib prison -- where dozens of prisoners were beaten, tortured, or worse at the hands of our government. Some of my friends and fellow service members were actually a part of the team that shut the place down, so I'm well aware what that barbaric behavior does to a human being. Let me be clear: we can not rest so long as a torture-advocate like Gina Haspel has so much power over the CIA. Torture doesn't work. It's inhumane. Monstrous. Criminal. And not only does she actively advocate for it's use, but she carried out torture rings in Thailand then tried to cover it up! There is simply too much at stake to let Trump’s illegitimate regime further dismantle our diplomatic institutions. I know we can win this battle if we work together and take decisive action right away. This is what we’re made for.

Citizens addressed the Waukesha Co Ex Committee in February asking them to craft a resolution supporting fair non-partisan re-districting in Wisconsin just as 37 other counties (out of 72) have already done. Paul Decker, the Chairperson of the Board has refused to place this item on the agenda. We are asking for the Waukesha Co Bd to weigh in on this state-wide issue.

New York's voter rolls are out-of-date. 37 other states have Early Voting. Nearly all states have more accurate and complete voter rolls. It's time for New York to lead rather than follow on elections!
