Don't lock in a tax giveaway to millionairesProponents want to sell this amendment as a tax cut for all, but we know how it will play out: lawmakers will likely need to raise the sales tax or local property tax, which will eat into working-and middle-class paychecks even more. Meanwhile, millionaires get a huge - and permanent - tax giveaway. Don't let them lock in a tax giveaway to millionaires at your expense.664 of 800 SignaturesCreated by Alexandra Sirota

Put Democracy Back On The Table! The two words "Move On" were originally part of the imperative: "censure[as in 'impeach'] and Move On." In 2006, at the height of the Iraq War, the Democrats won back the House and the highest ranking Democrat and third most powerful person in the world took impeachment(part of democracy) "off the table." Impeachment is an essential part of democracy's "Checks and Balances!" Put it back on! Put democracy back on the table! Until this November the mantra will be "Stop Trump"(from becoming president) because he will take horrible(and impeachable) actions... if he takes these actions WE NEED IMPEACHMENT ON THE TABLE!!! The Bernie campaign has often repeated: "Too Big To Fail" can't happen again! With impeachment "off the table" will criminals be "Too Big To Jail?" "Too Big To Fail" can't happen again! "Too Big To Jail" can't happen again! Put Democracy Back On The Table! (note: This will help to restore faith in the criminal justice system)16 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Lawrence Abbott

Rename the HR "majority of the majority" rule the "Pedophile Rule"Our nation has been personally affected by this rule. It should be considered a breach of the people's will. Let me go on! The duly elected President of United States times two, possibly due to his race, has been obstructed at every turn. "The party of the Constitution," as they like to think of themselves, also known as the Republican Party, are really the party of "we don't care who you voted for go to hell, American electorate." Here is what could change: 1. Gun legislation 2. Responsibility for all wars and involvement in wars worldwide. Take responsibility for the Americans send to war and have killed without responsibility. 3. Immigration policy 4. Equal pay for equal work 5. Legislation for eliminating money from politics or the type of spending the way it is today. 6. Infrastructure program 7. Jobs program Et cetera Etc. etc.!!!! David B. Put an Independent on the ballot against Billy Long in NovemberIt would be a humbling honor to represent the 7th District in the House of Representatives for Missouri. For too long we have not had good representation in DC and I would like the opportunity to be a real Representative for Southwest Missouri. We need to get rid of those who don't listen and don't seem to care about what matters most to us! Help me make this possible in November! The only way for me to even get on the ballot is by getting 5,000+ signatures from registered voters in 417-land. Candidates affiliated with the major parties merely file and pay $100! Before the campaign even begins, I'll have to prove that I'm the most determined, dedicated candidate in the race! Help me show the major parties that Southwest Missouri wants representation for the people, not the parties this November!70 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Stephanie Davis

We want our votes for Bernie Sanders counted.Bernie Sanders has more individual financial contributors and has regularly packed stadiums beyond capacity. Oddly voting numbers are substantially lower than poles predicted. These low predicted numbers are a red flag for election tampering. With all the organized ways that voters have been disenfranchised, we are attempting to simply compile a list of declared votes for Bernie Sanders to use as a comparison to the actual numbers of votes officially counted. Please indicate your county, state, registered as Independent =IND or D, M=Mailed513 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Margaret Lowry

Don't let David Bickford weaken the "Right to Know" lawHR 285 would add this language to existing law and allow secret meetings for; "Consideration of legal advice provided by legal counsel, either in writing or orally, to one or more members of the public body, even where legal counsel is not present." This amendment is poorly written, it will greatly weaken the law, and will lead to abuse of the public's rights and many more violations of the Right to Know law across the state.165 of 200 SignaturesCreated by George Gale

Save the University of Illinois!I am an alumnus of the University of Illinois. I support Bernie Sanders' call for tuition-free public college. When I was a freshman at the University of Illinois in the Fall of 1982, a semester's tuition was $598. Compared to today, that's virtually free. What Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner and the Illinois legislature are doing is going in the exact opposite direction. By failing to pass a budget that assures state support for public higher education, they are threatening the future of the University of Illinois. [1] Urge Bruce Rauner and the state legislature to pass a budget that funds public higher education without further delay by signing our petition. Requesting the Resignation of Davidson NC Mayor John WoodsOn June 8, 2016, Mayor John Woods traveled to Raleigh, N.C., and scheduled a secret meeting with NC State Senators Berger, Tarte and Curtis, and several others. This meeting was to advocate for the 1-77 Toll Lane Project and was in direct opposition of HB-954. Mr. Wood's action was illegally going against resolutions passed on behalf of 90% of the Citizens Against the Toll Lanes Project, and the Town Comissioners. Mr. Woods, knowingly and deliberately, stated false information about the support of The project to Senator Berger and went against thousands of his constituents whom he was aware have researched , signed petitions, sent countless emails to town, county, state legislative, and executive council, who have donated monies for legal representation in lawsuits, and who have invested their personal time to actively work to oppose the project and have tirelessly fought to have the project cancelled. These citizens are requesting for Mayor John Woods to submit a written letter Of resignation, effective immediately, or a recall will be submitted to the NCGA on behalf of these constituents30 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Cynthia Underwood

.@SenatorBaldwin: Explain Your Vote for Pentagon BloatOn Thursday, June 9, the Senate rejected an amendment by John McCain to increase the Pentagon budget by $18 billion. [1] The vote was 56-42 in favor; 60 votes were needed to pass. McCain's amendment tried to violate a bipartisan budget accord that increases in Pentagon spending must be matched by increases in domestic spending. 31 Democrats and 11 Republicans voted no on McCain's amendment; 44 Republicans and 12 Democrats and voted yes on McCain's amendment. [2] McCain's amendment was opposed by groups who disagree with diverting our tax dollars from human needs to the bloated Pentagon budget. [3] Wisconsin Democrat Tammy Baldwin, who is widely seen as a "progressive Democrat," was one of the 12 Democrats who supported McCain's amendment to pad the Pentagon budget by $18 billion. Urge Tammy Baldwin to defend and explain her vote for McCain's amendment by signing our petition.
