Most Americans don't approve of Trump's presidency, a record number just voted him out of office, and many Republicans are now also willing to admit Trump is a drag on their party and the nation. As a result Trump is furious and even more of a threat to America than ever before. Whether by impeachment or the 25th amendment, Trump must be removed—and ultimately held accountable for the attacks on our elections, incitement of violence and so much more. His selfish obsession with power means he is burning down everything in his path and picking public fights with everyone —he continues to attack Democratic leaders, journalists, nonpartisan election officials, and now he's even turned on Mike Pence and Mitch McConnell. Our nation's federal leadership must come together to remove Donald Trump from office. He is actively and illegally working to overturn the results of the election because he cannot stand to admit he lost. He's the leader of the violence and chaos at the Capitol right now. Thousands of residents work from home (regardless of Covid). Our children are learning from home. Elderly, impaired, and infants are home all day trying to rest. It has become impossible to concentrate on any given day of the week as leaf blowers are used every day at all hours of the day! We have also ceased to hear birds for much of the day, animals run in fear, kids cease playing outside, you can't even walk your dog any longer without being blasted with NOISE & POLLUTION!

The reason this is important is because in the past few weeks I have watched trans girls in Baltimore be murdered. We do not want to have to hide, but for safety we must at times. Many trans women in Baltimore do not have access to the funds to cover FFS and this leaves them still with this dysphoria and still as a target to those who have hatred.

Mitch has continually failed to represent his constituency, across the country and especially here in Kentucky. He has been uninterested in engaging with Kentuckians and was re-elected as a benefit of straight ticket Republican voting in a red state. He has been responsible for countless policies that have explicitly hurt the people of Kentucky, most recently in combating the increase of stimulus checks to $2k during the COVID pandemic. Removing him from the Senate is the right of the State of Kentucky.

The officer held down the dog with his knees and repeatedly punched him for refusing to return a reward he was just given. The witness heard alarming crying and saw the officer strike the dog 10 times before beginning to video. This is a serious offense which indicates behavior by the officer of loss of control, overreaction, and harm using his position of power. The officer held the dog down with his knees and closed first punched him. Abusive, despicable, and frightening behavior caught on video.

We understand that herd immunity via vaccination will take months to achieve. Without the steps outlined above many more lives will be lost and many others will become ill, perhaps chronically, per the models. This hurts people, and in the long run, is also expensive across many systems. We have seen what happens when countries work to eliminate COVID. New York State may have more difficulty than a country would, but we can see that the current level of mitigation is not enough. We have seen responses from leaders like Adern, Battulga and Merkel. While they have all struggled with COVID returning, the defining feature of their response is their unwillingness to lose lives. The January 6 Committee recently revealed explosive text messages from Senator Ron Johnson’s staff to former Vice President Mike Pence’s staff saying that Johnson was going to deliver fake elector votes to Pence from Wisconsin and Michigan. This is completely unacceptable. It’s highly unlikely that Johnson’s staff would’ve just initiated this conversation without his explicit approval. Sen. Ron Johnson should be ashamed and needs to be removed immediately. Despite all the evidence to the contrary, Johnson continued to perpetuate the idea that the 2020 Presidential election was fraudulent and that President Biden wasn't the President for many months after the fact. His views go directly against, and even devalue, the votes of his constituents. He does not represent the citizens of Wisconsin, and continues to perpetuate the idea that the 2020 Presidential election was fraudulent. This devalues his constituents votes and their voices to be heard. His motives are dangerous to our Democracy as a whole, and disgraceful to the citizens of Wisconsin.

This is important because people are suffering. There so many Americans struggling to survive. There are those who are homeless or about to be, there are those that are struggling to pay bills, there are those that can’t afford to go see a doctor, those who can’t find a job. There are those who can not work that are struggling, there are seniors getting sick from hunger, there are children going to bed without a meal. There frontline workers putting their lives on the line everyday for very little hazard pay, there are politicians who would rather argue over taxpayer money then spending on the taxpayer. The individuals on Social Security, SSI, SSDI, SSA, Veterans and Railroad benefits shall receive $1,200 per individual Those not eligible are individuals who are currently incarcerated and there are deceased E. All renters shall not be evicted from their dwellings until the pandemic is over or they find employment. G. On November 3, 2020, former Vice President Joe Biden was elected to be the 46th President of the United States by overwhelming margins in the popular vote and the Electoral College. Despite Biden’s decisive victory, Donald Trump and other prominent Republicans commenced a daily assault on the legitimacy of the election that includes filing dozens of frivolous lawsuits seeking to have the results invalidated. Hundreds of Republican elected officials across the country amplified these false claims, and in doing so, they helped incite the January 6 attack on the Capitol building, which left five people dead, including one Capitol Police officer. And even after this deadly insurrection, 147 Republicans still voted against certifying the election — this is unfathomable. The courageous Reconstruction Congress implanted into our governing document safeguards to cleanse from our government ranks any traitors and others who would seek to destroy the Union. To that end, Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment stipulates that: “No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof". Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.) letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi dated December 11, 2020) During the four years Trump was President, House Republicans pledged their loyalty to Trump above our country. In 2019, every house Republican refused to vote to impeach Trump for his numerous violations of his Oath of Office and his abuses of power. They have proven over and over again that they are unreasonable, condone lawlessness and are unfit to hold ANY position in elected public office. ALL 147 Republicans who voted against certifying the 2020 Election should be REMOVED and not seated in 2021.

The nearly 8% or $3 million + increase in the Elgin Police Department budget is excessive. This money should be reallocated to support community based services such as the creation of an Elgin Health and Human Services Department that would include mental health, addiction treatment, housing, food distribution, nutrition, education, recreation, job development, public transportation, accessibility to resources, infrastructure, etc. The Elgin Police Department’s proposed budget for 2021 is well over $51 million. This is absurd. Crime statistics are trending down. The community needs expanded social services not weaponized control. Over policing is a clear manifestation of systemic and structural racism. The community needs to hold the City Council, City Manager and Mayor accountable to prioritize community well being with investment in basic human dignity and the expansion of systems of social justice. Oscar Cain Jr was a passionate leader and even traveled to Ferguson to support the Black Lives Matter community during protests for Mike Brown. He was well loved in the community and was a part of many different organizations that dealt with issues such as voting rights and housing equality. He was a strong advocate for police use of body cameras and spent much of his time educating and speaking about this issue. Ironically, Cain, a father of two small children, was shot and killed by an Atlanta police officer that did not have his body camera on. Marquee Kelley, the Atlanta Police Officer who shot and killed Cain, claims someone told him they saw a man with a gun, and that when Kelley spotted Cain and tried to arrest him, Cain fled into a dark wooded area. According to Kelley’s story, he saw Cain with a gun in his hand so he shot Cain. Cain was shot in the back. He became the 7th activist who marched on the frontlines in Ferguson to die under suspicious circumstances. APD officer Kelley’s entire written report regarding the incident was three sentences and because Kelley’s body camera and dash camera were turned off when he shot Cain, there is no audio or video evidence of the shooting. Oscar Cain Jr was known to lead marches saying, “I am somebody and I deserve full equality. Right here. Right now.”
