Increase the U.S. Minimum WageMinimum is currently $7.25/hour. Minimum wage to meet the "livable wage" criteria is $12.50/hour. We need to be moving ahead to lift our workers out of poverty. We taxpayers are subsidizing business owners. Increasing the minimum wage and increasing our poorest workers' buying power is the road to economic recovery and expansion. It is the right thing to do!73 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John C. Brooks

Stop Obama's Secret Assassination ProgramNot only is the entire process carried out solely within the Executive branch - with no checks or oversight of any kind - but there is zero transparency and zero accountability. The president's underlings compile their proposed lists of who should be executed, and the president - at a charming weekly event dubbed by White House aides as "Terror Tuesday" - then chooses from "baseball cards" and decrees in total secrecy who should die. The power of accuser, prosecutor, judge, jury, and executioner are all consolidated in this one man, and those powers are exercised in the dark.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Matt Love

Stop the Koch Brothers from taking over state legislatures.Their behind the scenes massive donations to individual state Republican candidates has resulted in entire states carrying out their personal right-wing agenda, including re-districting to insure Republican victories throughout the states. As a nation, we are ALL affected by this. Because of Republican gerrymandering, and in spite of receiving millions more votes than their opponents, Republicans still control the House. This "silent takeover" must be stopped because it is destroying Democracy,164 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Mae B. Haynes

Get A Whiff Of ThisOne state has already banned fragrances in public places because of how they affect people with Multiple Sensitivities and Environmental Illness. I should have the right to go to the doctor's office without having to go out and sit in a drafty hall to try and avoid another patient's "perfume". Perfume exposure, for me, led to 15 minutes of waves of sobbing followed by times of quiet. It is a challenge to lead my life bombarded by chemical others think make them "smell good".1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Pati Gant

One Person, One VoteGet rid of the electoral college. Stop gerrymandering. The present system of counting votes has resulted in candidates winning without the majority of the popular vote.28 of 100 SignaturesCreated by cheryl

Tell Sen. McConnell: Return Amgen PAC and lobbyist donationsHunter Bates, a longtime aide to Sen. Mitch McConnell, donated $3,000 to McConnell’s campaign in December while he was on contract with pharmaceutical giant Amgen to lobby on “fiscal cliff issues,” according to recently released FEC reports. Soon after, Amgen received a $500 million dollar windfall in the fiscal cliff deal that was negotiated by Sen. McConnell. We are calling on Sen. McConnell to return all donations from Amgen and its lobbyists. We cannot let corporations win sweetheart deals with campaign donations.1,746 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Eric Ming

National Voting Standards ActOver and over the voters have had to fight for the right to easily register; the right to vote early; the right to vote by mail; the right to vote without ID poll taxing. And because voting is handled by the states, districts and counties, it has been a piecemeal fight; gaining ground in one area and then losing ground in another. It is time that there were national minimal standards for voting. A minimum number of early voting days. A minimum percentage of polling places based on population. A national voting registry to ease the registration process and take it out of the hands of partisan interest groups. No one should have to stand in line for hours to vote. Voting should be easy.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Diane M. Shoemaker

Create a National nonpartisan electoral system. The present system of local partisan control of elections, through gerrymandering and voter suppression, has produced an obstructionist minority controlled Congress.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by George McGee
