All of us have been adversely effected by overly elected U.S. Cogress seat holders becoming self important, corrupted by their positions of power and their loss of site of what is best for the state. They become concerned about being re-elected and overly influenced by special interest groups and large campaign donors . Term limits would go far in ending this cycle and would help to bring in fresh energy, ideas, and talent to these positions.

You know you’re out there when Paul Ryan thinks your idea is wrong. But Tom Corbett and his Republican allies in the PA legislature appear to be moving ahead with their idea to change the way we hold presidential elections. Corbett’s idea is to allocate PA’s Electoral College votes by percentage instead of winner-take-all. Using this formula, the 2012 results would have given the GOP (Romney/Ryan) 8 votes to 12 from PA for the Democrat (Obama/Biden). At first glance this might sound like a more fair system, but it would only work if all states had the same system. But the only states considering the Corbett Scheme are states where President Obama won, and where Republicans control the state government--Virginia, Florida, Ohio, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. If the Corbett’s Scheme had been in place last year in these states, we would have a President Romney who won only 47% of the vote. How unfair is this plan? Even Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) opposes it, even though he would be Vice President today if it had passed last year.

Set term limits on all elected officials Governor, Senators, Legislators.

The sequestration rule threatens vital social programs that have already received a 9% cuts since 2010. The bloated Pentagon budget is ripe for cuts.

Indiana government spends too much time on issues that really don't matter to most working people. Instead of targeting Woman, Gays, Workers and Immigrants and crafting liberal gun laws, we need our leaders to focus on Education, Jobs, Healthcare and Roads. Indiana's biggest problem is the "brain drain". It effects my business when young people leave for more progressive states.

As it stands today, electoral votes are what puts the president in office. So every vote of the the people of the United States of America is just entertainment. The president should not need 270 people voting for him to make it to office. He should need millions of votes. Votes from people who eat, breath, and live through the decisions and actions the president makes and takes. 538 people should not be making decisions for 314 million. improper use of power

Our government is corrupted, the White House, Congress they all are in on it, the only way we the people can stop tyrants & tyranny is to remove Congress members one by one state by state, either through impeachment by the people or petition for special elections or recall, but we have to start with Congress.

I think if we lower the pay of our higher ranking government officials and put it back into our schools, medical coverage or law enforcement for the protection of our people. I think out leaders in America are way over paid!
