Stop the Abortion Debate! The South Dakota voters have shown not once, but TWICE, that we support a woman's right to choose what is right for her body in regard to pregnancy, yet bills keep being introduced in attempt to ban or limit abortion. The newest is an attempt to remove holidays and weekends from the "eligible days" of the already absurd 72-hour waiting period before a woman can obtain an abortion. This makes the procedure nearly impossible to schedule, as there is only one clinic in the state that performs abortions. The legislators need to stop wasting taxpayer time, money, and resources in this endless battle that has already been fought and defeated.......TWICE. Stop stifling the voice of the voters, and accept what we are telling you: South Dakota is a pro-choice state and wants to remain that way!21 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Holly Reeve

Allocate Electoral College vote to match popular voteUnder the "winner take all" method, there have been elections where the candidate who wins the popular vote fails to win the electoral college vote. The "winner take all" method is the cause of excessive political spending and severe tensions in a few battleground states. This petition seeks to reduce to role of money in elections.7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Paul Stygar

Co-sponsor election modernization todayLast November, some voters in Massachusetts had to wait hours to cast their vote and many others did not vote due to our out-dated voter registration system. This must change. It is time to pass comprehensive election reform legislation -- including election audits, pre-registration for 16 and 17 year-olds, online voter registration, Election Day Registration and more. Let us write our legislators and demand election reform for 2013 in Massachusetts.464 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Sara Brady

Actual work for pay and benefitsAre you getting tired of Congress hardly ever being in session? It seems we are basically paying them to campaign or go to party seminars. I suggest that we start paying Congress BY THE HOUR!! They must be in session or committee hearings to collect any wage. Paying them minimum wage might be a good way to open their eyes to the plight of their constituents.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Joe Mendiola
