It's all about dividing the "United States" into fifty Cantons, patterned after the Swiss model. The residents of each Canton would vote for three main purposes that the Canton population stands (and works!) for, like carpentering, or enghineering, or 'you-name-it'. Banks would be limited to dealing within each Canton (i.e., no Inter-Cantonese deals.) Each Canton would have it's own militia, and would provide volunteers to serve the National defense. And, of course, whatever else the Canton freely votes for.

I feel we the people need to be able to know what our government is doing in most cases.i feel congress should have more time to review bills before being passed or denied in the house and senate. the public should be able to see all bills and executive orders word for word detail and have easy access to it online and in person as soon as the bill has been written for free.the federal reserve should be audited so we know where our tax dollars are going to and every detail towards our budget,funds and related areas.we should have stats for politicians just like we have for anything else.meaning we should be able to see each representatives bills they have made,supports or doesnt support and what they have done since they have been in office,strictly stats and facts without political bias.

Congress is ineffective. There's too much money in politics. The power of the incumbency is too great. We need to limit the time in office of politicians to 3 terms as a rep and 2 terms as a senator. Under the current system we are all losing due to greed and self serving interests.

In this age of the internet, online conferencing and telecommuting, why does Congress still need to meet in Washington, D.C.? The members should have an office in their home district or state where they spend their time and are more accessible to their constituents. They would be more in tune with the needs of the people they were elected to represent and save money in travel and housing expenses. Lobbyists would have to travel to the districts instead of having Congress as a captive audience in Washington, D.C.

Whatever it takes - any branch of the federal government that can be influenced to overturn the Citizens United Ruling. This decision by the Supreme Court has had a tremendously negative impact on our political process and democratic principles and continues to challenge the very essence of which the United States of America was founded upon. We must petition our representatives and appointed officials to reverse course before it is too late.

Manufactured Homes do not qualify for the Government refinancing. Presently, there is NO one out there who will finance or refinance a Manufactured Home. This is discrimination! It has happened to me and millions of others. There are over 10 milliom people living in Manufactured homes. We cannot get any help! We are told that we have the wrong property type. My petition is about the US mail. I am personally affected by it because I receive and send mail. I also work at a post office. Congress wants to gut mail delivery by closing processing plants among other things to delay the delivery of first class mail.

PUT ISSUES ON THE BALLOT THAT CONCERN PEOPLES RIGHTS NOT CORPERATE MANIPULATIONS OF LAWS/ LIKE INTERNET ACCESS/FLAT TAX/ELECTIONS OF ALL GOV OFFICIALS INCLUDING THE SUPREME COURT/ MAKE POLITICAL COLLUSION THE CRIME IT IS (TREASON) /

I worked for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for 30 years and found the Employee Suggestion Program establsihed by Congress is corrupt. The presidents annual SAVE award program also lacks implementation. Each program does allow a few select suggestions to be adopted and thousands are saved after implementation. Billions are available to be saved that are ignored because implementation limitations such as quotas are set and after these quotas are met nothing elese is approved even though it could save a billion dollars. Agency lie about ideas saying they started processes when they didnt to stop employees from getting a percentage of the savings accomplished in the first year. The Internal Revenue Services percentage was 25% of the first year savings however only around $125,000 was paid out in 2010 yet billions in savings that provided sound suggestions were ignored and turned down for frivilous reasons.

This in regards to Navy's highly irresponsible act to deafen and kill a high amount of ocean life. As an American I feel personally affected by this.

Traditional 401k retirement plans have high fees. Worse, they do not provide a reliable monthly benefit as long as you live. Wisconsin has the best pension plan in America. Rather than weaken it with defined contribution and opt-out options, let's open it up to every working family in the state. Tell our leaders in Madison that we all deserve a secure retirement. Open WRS to the private sector so they can get the same goodies enjoyed by public employees.
