Governor Rick Perry we demand that you repay the 3.7 million dollars of Texas Tax Payer Money you and your office used on your failed and ill conceived Presidential Run. The Tax Payers in Texas did not authorize you to use this money and we want you to pay it back immediately and without fail. This money can be used for our schools and rebuilding our infrastructure which is so badly needed.

Military retirees and their dependents (such as myself and wife) are eligible for "Space Available" flights on Air Mobility Command aircraft. Only otherwise wasted seats are used. Of the six category levels of "Space A" eligibility, I'm only asking that my level, the 6th and lowest, be expanded to include veterans rated by the Department of Veterans Affairs as 100% service connected disabled. My wife and I have flown to England, Germany, California, Ohio, Maryland, etc. via Space A as Category 6 passengers. How unfair it is that those who gave everything but their lives for their Country, that were medically separated and did not have a chance to retire from the military, are not eligible for Space A. Extending this benefit to these totally disabled veterans would cost NOTHING! Remember, only otherwise wasted seats are used for Space A, and all the administrative systems are already in place and operational.

Most of the money for political campaigns buys advertising to influence how a person votes. If voters have already made up their minds how they will vote, the need for big money is greatly reduced.

The President has submitted many Bills for consideration on improving jobs, the economy, infrastructure, & social reform that the Republican Congress have deliberately blocked, held or filibustered for their partisan interests irrespective of the will of the people. They are comitted to power in lieu of the interests of the country. Their actions have slowed the economic recovery for all Americans and has resulted in usurping the overwelming support the people. If the interests of the people are disregarded they are violating the Constitutional rights of the people. They must submit or be eliminated. Their actions are in fact Treason and must be dealt with in that vane as a crime. Republicans can't win an election fairly so they are engaged in stealing the November election by disenfranchising millions of voters using voter suppression laws as an excuse for protecting voter fraud which simply does not exsist. The justice dept must be engaged quickly to make null and void this criminal behavior before the election and not after!

Limiting national election campaigns to 9 months will reduce the amount of money spent campaigning. This works well in other countries. It can work here too.

My petition is about the excessive amount of money spent on political campaigns. Only a reasonable amount, sufficient to communicate with constituents, would be allowed to be spent. I'm affected because my small donation and others like it cannot compete with the attention and influence large donations buy for wealthy individuals or groups.

Congress is in a position to effect the lives of others and should and should have the Health Insurance, they should also have the sick days and vacations as most of the public is operating under and should have no other priviledges not afforded the working class

These right-wing idealogs dont belong in MY supreme court.

Change the designation of military Service Dogs to Canine Soldiers and afford them full benefits. When they retire or are no longer "useful" they should be entitled to transportation back to the U.S. and get full Veterinarian benefits. Handlers should be able to keep the dogs and get financial support in association with keeping the dogs.

Limit U.S. Senate term to one six year term in their lifetime. Limit U.S. Representative term to no more than two terms of two years each consecutive or not in their life time. There are more than enough citizens capable of representing their districts as a Public Servant willing to do their part in helping their Democracy run above board without the influence of lobbyist, bribes, and greed that has driven this Country to the brink of disaster. Term Limits is just a start, but one of the most important actions that can help turn this once great nation around. By limiting the time any one person has in office, in turn limits the time the Corporations have to influence the law makers. It doesnt take years to train an honest legislature...It takes years to learn the tricks and loopholes that have made the rich get richer and the poor staying poor.

I would like to see the elections decided by all the people not just a handful of states.

Everyone agrees the legislative branch of our government is dyfunctional. One reason is that Congressional Districts are so carefully drawn (ie. "gerrymandered") by the political parties, only 50 of the 435 seats are really "open election" seats. This stymies the political process and generates idealogues who are not interested in the best interests of the American people.
