• Term Limits
Let's consider term limits for all state and federal Spreme Court Justices. It's ridiculous to think that these judges aren't or can't be influenced by partisan politics and big pharma, banks, oil and insurance lobbyists. Appointing them for life is absolutely ludicrous. They should be appointed or re-appointed on their proven level of experience and non-prtisan judgements.

  • Declaration of Interdependence, 4 July 2012
This is a revised (edited) version of the 1776 Declaration of Independence (http://www.ushistory.org/declaration/document/) that attempts to show similarities between the abuses of the present rule of corporate Kings to those of the British King George III at the time of American Independence. With the advent of the upcoming 4th of July many crises facing us today (Citizens United, etc.) are the result of overreaching corporate influence within our political process. The timing may make for a powerful statement—we once threw off the shackles of royalty; perhaps we should view events today in the same light.

  • GROW UP
A request that politicians stop playing Playground Politics and start seriously addressing the severe and urgent problems this country faces. Instead of squabbling like spiteful spoilt kids that are oblivious to the world out side of their precious sandbox it is time for politicians to grow up and start behaving like intelligent focussed adults that were elected to solve problems not to look for ways to create them. The American people deserve mature behavior from their elected party officials that are presently more content to indulge themselves in petty party sniping than they are working in a non partisan way to get this country out of the biggest hole it has ever been in.Right now they all might as well be terrorists doing everything in their power to destroy the future of this country by their reckless disregard for the economic hardships that normal hard working Americans are being exposed to. We are all suffering the consequences of their indifference and insufferable puerile antics. In short they just need to grow up, put partisan politics aside and start working toward a common workable solution that will put the country back on it's feet again.

  • Getting Rid of Congress
Congress is the body that makes the laws and can override the President's veto. We need to go to the source of our problems and not look toward the President who just serves as an idea man and a fall guy. We should be concentrating more on who gets into and remains in Congress. In Obama's first term, even if he tried to deliver on what the American majority said that they wanted by their vote, the Democrats who were in control of Congress at the time did not allow it; now, the Republicans aren't either. They have said it is their main goal to make Obama a one-term President verses doing what they can to better our country! Congresses complacency may be due to their individual wealth and lack of enforcement for them to pay their taxes, so they in fact, are out of touch with our working class society. No matter what President we vote into office, as long as the same members remain in Congress with their self-serving policies, such as great Healthcare packages for their families, which when offered to us are labeled Socialist, and their finances which allow them to afford to send their kids to college and have off shore accounts. This body of legislation would not want the higher echelon to be taxed at a higher rate because at the 1.3million dollars they currently owe and have not paid, they would refuse to pay that too. They are out of touch and also as of yet untouchable!!! WE need to CHANGE them then maybe our Presidents can do what the voting majority want!

We need new Financial Protection Legislation that includes a new Glass Stegall act that not only separates Commercial & Investment banking but it must solve the problems with derivatives and naked shorting because they have the American Economy on the verge of another financial disaster. The 5 largest banks have a value of over 50% of the GDP. They are not only too big to fail they are too big to manage and must be broken up to protect We the people on main streets and real streets of America because we continue to feel the pain of the last financial crisis. Together we have more that unites us than divides us.

  • CRG -- Create Responsible Government
Clearly, Tea Party and Occupiers along with most independents despise the FORM our hateful parties-bound government has taken with continual 24/7 media obsession. We need a one six year Presidential term so he/she doesn't have to lop off a year to run again. Six year Senate term limited to three; four year House terms limited to three -- affording plenty of time to jockey for other offices and serve their corporate masters. Elections financed by the government. End the Senate 60% majority for passage with one-man-one-vote. This may be possible without a constitutional convention.

  • Candidate for Public Office Code of Ethics
I modified the code of ethics of a major international organization to make it appropriate for candidates for public office. Grover Norquist was successful in shaming Republican candidates into signing his no-tax pledge. Let's see if we can shame candidates from BOTH political parties to sign on to this Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
