  • Science-based legislation
In 2008, candidate Obama indicated that his administration would rely on scientific results when promoting new legislation. But this promise has been broken countless times especially regarding drug laws, which he now won't even talk about since his policies contradict known science. It's time to "go scientific"!

  • Congressional and Senate term limits!
Our representatives may start out with the best of intentions when they first get elected to the Senate or Congress and then they get caught up in the political network. It's all down hill from there. I say, serve your country for 2 terms and then you're done. No expensive retirement plan, no healthcare for life. Rotation of the reps and the ideas is the only way to keep these folks working for the people they represent.

  • Term Limits
Let's consider term limits for all state and federal Spreme Court Justices. It's ridiculous to think that these judges aren't or can't be influenced by partisan politics and big pharma, banks, oil and insurance lobbyists. Appointing them for life is absolutely ludicrous. They should be appointed or re-appointed on their proven level of experience and non-prtisan judgements.

  • Declaration of Interdependence, 4 July 2012
This is a revised (edited) version of the 1776 Declaration of Independence (http://www.ushistory.org/declaration/document/) that attempts to show similarities between the abuses of the present rule of corporate Kings to those of the British King George III at the time of American Independence. With the advent of the upcoming 4th of July many crises facing us today (Citizens United, etc.) are the result of overreaching corporate influence within our political process. The timing may make for a powerful statement—we once threw off the shackles of royalty; perhaps we should view events today in the same light.

  • YOUR GRAVY TRAIN IS OVER
Congress is non functioning with an approval rating of 8%. The republicans have openly stated they will do everything in their power to make President Oboma a one term president. They scream follow the constituition but dol just the opposite. President Oboma has spent too much time kissing thier butts only to have the republicans OPENLY degrade and insult him and his family. It is time for the congress to work for WE THE PEOPL;E and stop becomming millionaires thanks to those who reward them financially for NOT DOING THEIR JOBS.
