For over 235+ years all of the early organized political parties have consistently manipulated our laws at one time or another in our history for the express reason of eroding the "Natural" rights and freedoms of the American People. From the very first draft of our Constitution and Bill of Rights there was many revisions which focused on ones personal agenda based of their personal belief system which was and is strictly prohibited in that very Constitution. Along the way our Justice System allowed many of these rights and freedoms to be consumed by endless delays and conjecture that in the end no due process was allowed. This is now the 21 Century and our laws need to be revised for this cultures mindset and not that of the 17 hundreds for the simple fact that they don't apply anymore. It is time for the American people to hold all our elected officials accountable both past and present for their actions and to bring to justice all of these changes manipulated by those who voted for these bad laws.

This year, we need to send a message that we are tired of the gridlock and total blockage of ideas from our representatives in Washington, and at the state level. Please do not vote for your current local, and federal representative's...name recognizition will not do this time...Send them all home and replace with new, serious people who will do the work....

Stop foreigners from buying our elections. Only allow U.S. Citizens to contribute to political campaigns. Protect American values.

Politicians are so beholden to their parties, their super PAC, their special interest groups and getting elected that our voices get lost. I think we should ask everyone of them to pledge an oath to the citizens. One that reminds them what they are really there for. They should be asked to renounce pledges to Grover Norquist or any other person or group that is put before us the people.

Currently Congress spends less time working that we who have full time jobs do. As of October 1, 2010, 443 retired Members of Congress were receiving federal pensions based fully or in part on their congressional service. Of this number, 262 had retired under CSRS and were receiving an average annual pension of $69,420. A total of 181 Members had retired with service under FERS and were receiving an average annual pension of $38,460 in 2010. This is higher than the national average. Since so many other state and local employees have has their pensions decreased due to high burden on the tax payers, I believe Congress should receive the same treatment.

So much political advertising is misleading or outright false. Congress needs to clean up the lies and give us only the truth. The Supreme Court seems to think lying is protected speech, but political advertising must be truthful.

Politicians who filibuster or block passage of vital Congressional Business shall be fined for each and every attempt to disrupt or impair Congress, by voting opposite of normal personal trends in order to stifle a bill proposal. Also, should this be a vital issue, such as the Yearly Budget and so on ... that directly affects the citizens of the USA, financially or otherwise, anyone blocking or impeding its passage for purely political reasons shall be levied a fine of no less than $25,000, or if the loss from this action is great, a fine of no less than 20% of the alleged overcharge to the taxpayers.

Constitutional Amendment forcing Congress to use the same services and products that are available to the general public thereby eliminating all of the exclusive perks of Congress.

I am sick and tired of "political debates" that allow politicians to continually waste our time, regurgitating "talking points", rather than answering the questions. Moderators should have an iridescent orange paddle to judge the speakers response as "Off topic", "irrelevant", "content-free" and perhaps a independent panel (?politifact.com) can judge "untrue" also!
