Laws have become so complex and long many are passed without reading by those voting in Congress,. Therefore I have started a petition to clean up the mess.

No member of the House or Senate may vote on any bill that he has not physically listened to the complete aural out-loud reading of in the chamber of the House or Senate.

The Patriot Act (P.A.) has taken away my Constitutional Rights as an American. My fore fathers fought against outside government takeovers. And the P.A. does that and even more unconstitutional things against the citizens Bill Of Rights. Therefore repealing the P.A. would then restore our sovournty(sp)? Back to where out once was. No one group of representatives should have the right to change the Constitutions Perameters or Framework of a Historical Document we have lived by as a peaceful nation. In doing this repeal we will also be attempting to change the Protocal of the C.I.A. & Homeland Security preventing them from staging and performing accidents at home and abroad to give our government a reason to retaliate.

The federal government thinks they aren't doing their job unless they're creating new programs and agencies that rely on taxpayer funding. We're broke! The ability to spend money collected under force of law is a sacred trust which has been repeatedly and habitually violated for decades. Not only do they need to stop creating new programs, but they need to phase out everything that is not mandated by the U.S. Constitution.

Nearly all of our representatives in local, state and the United States government are elected by direct popular vote except for the President (and Vice President) of the United States. Although voters in every state cast a vote for the U.S. President they are actually, in effect, voting for a slate of electors who in turn vote in the Electoral College for the person who will be President. There have been times in the past when a person who won the popular vote did not become President. We need to end the Electoral College and choose our President by direct popular vote.

Wanda Ramey - a retired businesswoman - broke her hip last winter. Because of Medicare, she was able to get the surgery and treatment she needed. If the Republican Billionaire Budget passes, Medicare will end as we know it. Senior citizens like Wanda Ramey are really concerned about this. Will they be able to afford essential healthcare once the Republican Millionaire Budget passes? Sign the petition if you believe that this federal budget - that punishes from the middle class and elderly - should be defeated in Congress! The Republican Budget -- a millionaire's dream come true and a nightmare for the middle class!

Lying in politics must be outlawed and prosecuted. Politicians routinely lie to the American people. They think nothing of changing their stories regularly as they destroy the foundation of our democracy. We must demand a zero tolerance law that strongly punishes lying politicians.

Often people receive information about a political candidate only through the candidate's or an opponent's advertising. And, often the facts of the message are either skewed or blatantly false. For Americans to be able to select their candidates based on credible information, this needs to change.

We The People must regain control of America. We The People are supposed to be self-governing and this has been lost. Now is the time to vote out of office EVERY Republican. Vote only progressive. Vote only for change. Vote only for evolution into a better future. Do it now or it will be too late.

Forcing Congressional members to read EACH new proposed bill that goes before House and Senate. Stopping "add-on" bills that are attached to other bills that are not related and in the early hours when no-one is there to oppose the new bill.

The price of Gas and home heating oil is too much for the average working person. It is our of hand for folks that are retired and disabled need in to go to the Doctors and get medical care.
