Rep. Peter Roskam should stop taking money from the NRA!As a veteran, I am appalled at the strangle hold the NRA has on our congress. Our representatives should not be taking money from the NRA.740 of 800 SignaturesCreated by Katherine McAfee

Tom McClintock: Return your NRA fundingThe four largest mass shootings in US history have occurred since 2007, with the two largest occurring back to back in 2016 and 2017. This means that my two year old son has lived through the two largest mass shootings in modern US history. Yet after every mass shooting no progress is made on common sense gun reform, despite the majority of American's being in support of some change. One of the reasons for this is the fact that our representatives are bought and paid for by the NRA and other special interest groups. Signing this petition will put Tom on notice that he needs to listen directly to his constituents and compromise to solve the tough challenges of our times. Doing nothing solves nothing.80 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Scott McDonald

Senators Roberts and Moran: Return the $1.6 million you have taken from the NRAMore people have lost their lives to gun violence since the 1960's than we lost U. S. soldiers in WW1 and WW2 combined. The Courage to Save LivesThe purpose of the Second Amendment has been completely distorted by well financed special interests leaving all Americans vulnerable to deadly use of military grade semi-automatic assault weapons. Representative Lee Zeldin received $33,732 from the National Rifle Association and members of its staff. He must show the courage to put the lives and well-being of constituents above money, or we should remove him from office on November 6, 2018.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John McAuliff

It's not an assault rifle if people dieWe need to start using accurate language to describe automatic and semi-automatic weapons. They are used for war and for killing. They are not used to assault they are used to kill. When people are assaulted, they usually live. When automatic guns are used, people are killed. These are Killing Rifles.7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Julie Frank

Stand with families of gun violence victims who want to reinstate the assault weapons banImmediately following Pulse I took my sadness, my anger, and turned it into action when I joined Pride Fund to End Gun Violence’s Board of Advisors, to ensure another pulse didn’t happen to anyone ever again. But on October 02, 2017, it did...this time in Las Vegas. We can’t wait any longer. We’re fed up with Congress’s refusal to pass commonsense legislation that we know will save lives. The Pride Fund’s agenda is what we all know just makes sense: Expand background checks to cover all gun sales. Prohibit suspected terrorists from purchasing guns. Restrict access to assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. Support federally funded research on gun violence. And prevent those convicted of committing hate crimes from purchasing guns. Our mission is to turn tragedy into action by raising and spending money to elect Democrats at the state and federal levels who support common sense gun reforms and champion LGBTQ equality. The Pride Fund is the only LGBTQ political organization solely focused on enacting gun policy reforms to ensure safety for all.177 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Laly Santiago-Leon
