• Representative Peter Welch: STOP TAKING NRA MONEY!
As a physician in training years ago, I took care of victims of gun violence. Today I am overwhelmed by the growing number of senseless slaughters of men, women, and children in our great country. I can't just stand silently by.

  • Rep. John Katko, reject the NRA
Rhetoric form the NRA has become downright scary! Now more than ever, we must get them out of our politics. Getting our representatives to reject them would be an excellent first step.

  • Resist NRA Money in Politics
The carnage that semi-automatic and converted automatic weapons have caused in our country has to stop. As a retired teacher, a day does not go by when I don't think of a special needs teacher giving her life protecting a student from a madman with an AR-15 in hand. It is big money in politics that keeps common sense gun laws from happening let's do something about it. Sign my petition

  • Jaime Herrera-Beutler STOP taking NRA $
In 2005 we lost a family member to gun violence. He was my spouses former brother-in-law. He and his wife were visiting a friend in a nice neighborhood when a home invasion caused him to attempt to flee to protect his wife. They made it into the back yard where he was shot in the back as he pushed his wife into the cover of shrubbery. She watched him die and then fled as the gunman went back into the house. To this day she is still deeply affected. Her husband was a retired Army recruiter. These guarantees were brought to justice and we attended the trial but it will happen again. There are too many guns in the hands of irresponsible as well as criminal members of our society. I also lost a step brother, a well loved coach and high school teacher, to suicide with the Colt 45 he inherited from his father. Gun laws must change. I know I am not the only one to have these losses.

  • Stop taking funds from the NRA!
It's unacceptable that our country can't pass sensible gun laws that would save laws in the wake of mass shootings. Greg Walden is being given money by the NRA to downvote any laws relating to gun regulation. It's time he stops and faces his own people - not the organization that bribes him - before I or anyone else lose their lives to a senseless tragedy of a mass-shooting that could be prevented.

  • Return NRA’s $45746 Contribution
Representatives in Congress have been bought by the NRA. We, the people are the ones you should be representing. It is time to break the stranglehold the NRA has and pass some common sense gun restrictions. The second amendment did not guarantee every person an arsenal. We have a military and do not need extra military on the streets. Young children being slaughtered were not enough! Will 58 deaths and hundreds injured be enough? It is past time to take care of the people.
