Democratic City Leaders: Divest from Citizens Bank!CoreCivic and GEO Group, the nation's two largest private prison corporations, operate more than half of all ICE detention facilities. While most major banks have cut ties with the private prison industry after years of public pressure, Citizens Bank has gone the other direction. Since 2012, it has helped these companies access more than $2.5 billion in financing and even expanded GEO Group's credit line by another $100 million earlier this year. Public deposits are valuable business for banks. Cities and states entrust hundreds of millions—and collectively more than $750 billion—in taxpayer dollars to financial institutions, generating significant revenue and providing capital that supports their business. This is real leverage for city leaders to hold Citizens Bank accountable and dismantle detention infrastructure. We've already seen this strategy work. Last month, the Jersey City Council voted to move $265 million in public funds out of Citizens Bank because of the bank's financing of CoreCivic and GEO Group. Now it's time for more cities to follow Jersey City's lead and use public dollars to pressure Citizens Bank to end its support for immigrant detention.513 of 600 Signatures

Helping your neighbors is not a crime. Drop the charges NOW!Trump’s aggressive and haphazard occupation of Minnesota earlier this year wreaked havoc in Minnesota—with individuals, families, schools, and businesses still navigating the aftermath of the manufactured crisis. ICE agents terrorized neighborhoods, drove recklessly through our streets, violated basic constitutional rights, abused and harmed people, and murdered two peaceful observers—Alex Pretti and Renee Good (and lied about the circumstances leading up to those murders). Tens of thousands of regular people courageously showed up to organize—marching in the street, tracking ICE agents to expose their violence and unlawfulness, protesting outside hotels and car rental shops, peacefully observing vulnerable locations in their communities, and making sure people had access to basic necessities like food, water, toiletries, and rent funds. Minnesota served as not only an example of resistance, but a vibrant, loving, and principled example of what our country could be—a stark contrast to Trump’s cruel, violent, fear-based agenda. And it’s that beacon of hope that the Trump administration is trying to snuff out. The federal government is charging 15 Minnesotans a part of a broad coalition called Direct Action Minnesota “for conspiracy to impede or injure federal officers,” and for efforts to allegedly “violently oppose immigration law enforcement.” Meanwhile, the violent insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol in 2021—threatened lawmakers and assaulted police officers—have been pardoned by the Trump administration, and Trump even tried to direct taxpayer dollars to a $1.8 billion slush fund to pay them off. This isn't about justice—it’s about punishment and intimidation. Add your name to the petition to demand the charges be dropped immediately!27,225 of 30,000 SignaturesCreated by MoveOn

Vote Out Every Republican Who Just Gave $70 Billion to ICEMasked, unidentified federal agents have been militarizing our cities and brutalizing our communities to carry out Trump's extreme deportation agenda. These agents—outfitted for war—are showing up at schools, workplaces, and people's homes, kidnapping and deporting our neighbors without any due process. ICE already received $75 billion last year—nearly nine times its annual budget—with no transparency and no oversight. More than $100 billion sits unspent. There was no funding crisis. Republicans invented one, then doubled down with $70 billion more—while cutting $911 billion from Medicaid and doing nothing about groceries, healthcare, or gas prices. Our communities deserve safety, dignity, and justice. Minnesotans showed up for Renee Nicole Good, Alex Jeffrey Pretti, Kieth Porter, and Liam Ramos. Now it's time to show up at the ballot box. Every Republican who voted yes owns every raid, every family separated, and every death that follows. We will not forget—and in November, we will vote them out.9,529 of 10,000 SignaturesCreated by MoveOn

No ICE at the World Cup!According to Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin, ICE agents will be “out there every day” for the FIFA World Cup, which kicks off June 11. While the rogue agency actively carries out unlawful arrests, racially profiles people, and inflicts violence upon our communities, the presence of ICE agents at games and fan festivals puts everyone — fans, players, players’ families, stadium employees, team staff — at unnecessary risk. Communities are already fighting back. Stadium workers in Los Angeles are threatening to strike over ICE’s presence. Activists in Philadelphia are organizing to stop it. Congress is taking notice, too. Rep. Nellie Pou introduced the Save the World Cup Act, which would bar federal law enforcement from conducting immigration enforcement raids at or near soccer matches and fan festivals — it’s legislation we need to rally behind today. When we push members of Congress to support legislation, speak out, and take action, it helps fuel support for the local organizing already happening in cities across the country. Will you send a message that ICE has NO place turning sporting events meant to bring us together into places full of division, fear, and violence?25 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Win Without War

Shut down Delaney Hall NOW!Delaney Hall represents a dangerous expansion of the immigrant detention system, one driven by profit, and unconcerned with public safety. In 2025, ICE handed a $1 billion contract to GEO Group to run Delaney Hall which essentially quadrupled detention capacity in New Jersey overnight. Now, hundreds of people inside are risking their health to expose what’s happening behind the doors of Delaney Hall. More than 200 detainees remain on hunger and labor strike, protesting unsafe conditions: lack of medical care, spoiled food, and extreme heat without air conditioning. These are not isolated complaints, they are systemic failures in facilities that were never meant to be kind to the people within them. Warehouses like Delaney Hall exist because of a system that outsources detention to private prison corporations with little transparency or accountability. GEO Group, the corporation in charge of Delaney Hall and other detention facilities across the country, profits when more people are detained for longer periods of time. This system creates incentives and rewards for holding people, often without cause, while cutting corners on their healthcare and safety. If people inside speak out about their conditions inside, the response is retaliation. News reports include pepper spray and physical force against detainees, forced transfers, and blocked access for families. Even local elected officials and members of Congress are being denied oversight. Sign the petition if you agree: Delaney Hall must be shut down NOW!877 of 1,000 Signatures

Tell Trump: Reverse changes to the green card process!Roughly one million people become green card holders every year, and about 500,000 of them apply while living in the U.S. These are people deeply embedded in their communities, sometimes living with family members who are U.S. citizens, and contributing to the economy through work and taxes. Trump and the USCIS have offered very few details about who will be directly impacted by these changes, sharing only vague language that some people who have an “economic benefit or otherwise are in the national interest” might be allowed to remain in the U.S. But experts are already concerned about how these exceptions might lead to even more discrimination, especially for immigrants from countries on Trump's “travel ban” list—like Brazil, Colombia, and Thailand—who cannot seek consular services in their home countries. This policy is already causing mass confusion among immigrants and their lawyers. The UCIS should reverse these unnecessary changes NOW and allow green card applicants to continue residing in the U.S.616 of 800 Signatures

Tell FIFA: Protect World Cup fans and stadium workers from ICE!ICE leadership has refused to rule out its presence during the World Cup, calling ICE a “key part” of tournament security. Workers and vendors in host cities like Los Angeles are speaking out about fear of being profiled, detained, or losing the income their families rely on if ICE is present at World Cup events. Human rights organizations are urging FIFA to demand an “ICE truce” during the games because of growing fears that immigrant communities, workers, and visitors could face harassment or detention. The Trump administration has refused to rule out ICE’s presence during the World Cup, calling ICE a “key part” of tournament security planning. Experts are already concerned about the treatment visitors to the World Cup would face in the U.S.—especially for people traveling from countries that the Trump administration has treated with open contempt. Countries including Ireland, the Netherlands, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Germany, Finland, and Canada have issued travel advisories about the possibility of being detained by the Department of Homeland Security in the U. S. and have warned transgender people about the State Department’s change in policy regarding gender markers on passports. If FIFA truly believes in the unifying spirit of the World Cup and its promise that “football is for everyone”, then it must act now to guarantee the safety and dignity of the millions of people who will attend, work, and participate in the World Cup. Tell Congress: Reject tens of billions for ICE violence and Trump’s ballroom“I don't think about Americans’ financial situation,” Trump recently told reporters. He didn’t need to tell us because his budget requests say everything we need to know: Right now, Congress is dangerously close to passing a bill that would pour $70 billion more taxpayer dollars into ICE and CBP at Trump’s behest, supercharging the machinery of detention, deportation, and mass surveillance. Think that’s outrageous? Wait until you hear Republicans have also slipped another $1 BILLION into the bill for Trump’s White House ballroom. It’s an unconscionable use of our resources. But thanks to tireless advocacy from movement partners and activists like you, Democrats held the line against more funding for ICE and CBP. That’s why Republican leadership is working to jam this bill through on a party-line vote. But it won’t be easy — their party is already fracturing, and House Speaker Mike Johnson can only afford to lose two votes. Together, we can show lawmakers how badly this will backfire and help block this outrageous funding bill. Let’s remind everyone on Capitol Hill that we resoundingly reject billions for ICE violence and lavish ballrooms while people struggle.40 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Win Without War

Justice for Renee Good: Remove Jonathan Ross from duty! You do not get to kill someone and get away with it. While Renee’s family and community are forced to deal with the fallout and live with the trauma, Jonathan Ross continues to live his life and keep collecting a government paycheck funding by the taxpayers. Allowing him to continue working for ICE sends a message that immigration agents can act recklessly and with impunity and get away with it. This message puts all of us and our communities in grave danger. We must send the message that you don’t get to harm our communities and face zero consequences. Jonathan Ross must be held accountable and removed from duty now.27,157 of 30,000 SignaturesCreated by MoveOn

ICE Accountability: Justice for Carlos MendozaCarlos Ivan Mendoza Hernandez, loving fiancé and devoted father to a little girl, was shot seven times by ICE agents in Patterson, California. The FBI and DHS have access to multiple angles of video footage, but they won’t release it to us. The DHS accused him of being a violent gang member, but then retracted the statements once they were questioned about it. Carlos was released directly from the ICU to the FBI, and he has been transferred between five detention facilities and has not received proper medical treatment. He is unable to eat because he was shot in the mouth, the gunshot wound on his arm almost got infected, and they have only been giving him painkillers. He is now being charged with weaponizing his vehicle to hurt ICE officers, when in reality, he was just trying to get away from the agents who were shooting at him. They tried to kill him and it didn’t work, so now they’re punishing him. Carlos and his family desperately need YOUR help.26,150 of 30,000 SignaturesCreated by Ian Lightfoot

Block the construction of a new detention center in San Antonio!Nearly 12% of the population of San Antonio are immigrants. They are our friends, family members, coworkers, and neighbors. And we need to defend them against Trump’s brute and unlawful deportation agenda. The details of the proposed San Antonio detention site are still unclear. ICE confirmed they purchased land and a facility but have not given details beyond that. What we do know is that the deed for a 640,000-square-foot industrial warehouse with a 1,500-bed capacity has been transferred to the federal government. Local elected officials claim to be equally in the dark about the plans, with a city spokesperson claiming they have not received any assessments for the site, and that the city was not informed of any federal estate transactions. Local leaders have already sounded the alarm on ICE and DHS’s rapid power grab. Bexar County Commissioner Tommy Calvert has been outspoken against the project, and the San Antonio City Council approved a resolution in February to identify what the city can do to push back against ICE. We need to keep up public pressure to make it clear that we expect them to keep using every lever in their power to interfere, delay, and block the development of a detention camp in San Antonio, and that we demand transparency and accountability for any civil or human rights violations by ICE and DHS. We cannot allow ICE and the Trump administration to keep expanding their inhumane deportations. Sign the petition to say NO warehouses for detention centers in San Antonio.1,291 of 2,000 Signatures

Block the construction of a new detention center in Surprise! The federal government is spending $313 million to convert a warehouse in Surprise, Arizona, into a mega ICE detention facility. The 400,000-square-foot building is set to be among the larger ICE facilities, detaining up to 1,500 people. Warehouses are for packages, not people, and every single person in our state must speak out against this dehumanizing construction. GardaWorld Federal is the company contracted to oversee the conversion—the same company running the disastrous detention camp in the Everglades, “Alligator Alcatraz.” The Everglades detention camp is a dangerous facility where immigrants have gone missing, and experts have sounded the alarm on everything from deadly diseases, hazardous flooding, and human rights abuses. We can’t allow GardaWorld Federal and DHS to replicate the inhumane and immoral camp in our own backyard. We need local elected officials to use every lever in their power to interfere, delay, and block the development of a detention camp in Surprise, Arizona.1,803 of 2,000 Signatures
