• Stop Domestic Terrorism Now.
Since 1968 the National Rifle Association has been actively promoting the undermining of laws governing the regulation of firearms and has acted publicly and within its organization to promote domestic violence and terrorism by the policies it backs.

  • Increase Penalties for crimes when Guns are used!
If it were known that the penalty for using a gun in a crime were life in prison - fewer perpetrators would risk using these weapons when committing a crime.

  • It's Gun Safety not Control
Push our progressive leaders and media types to stop using the pharse "Gun Control" legislation. No one wants to be controled; even NRA members are for gun safety. It is all about preception. I believe more people would be open to dialog if it were "ALWAYS" termed Gun Safety guidelines when pushing the policy debate.

  • Control our out of control gun culture
There are too many guns now to take away, but that doesn't mean we can't tax assault weapons, require bi-annual licensing and proficiency tests, control the amount of ammunition that can be sold or accumulated.

  • Teachers Against "Called to Arms"
With the recent massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Newton, Connecticut the NRA & some politicians have suggested that teachers be armed so they could shoot intruders with guns. As someone who choose teaching for my career, not police/guard I want no part of learning to use a gun for any purpose, therefore, I am vehemently against those who are calling on school districts to have teachers carry guns in school.

  • Delhi gang-rape
The sheer brutality of the incident has left me completely shaken. I hope it never happens to any girl. I am praying that the victim survives. It is deeply disturbing that an incident like this took place in a modern society. We have to reflect on where we are headed as a society.

  • No "Too Big to Jail"
On December 11, the Justice Department announced a settlement, or "deferred prosecution agreement," that it had reached with HSBC, a large global bank. • Deny publicity to rampage shooters.
I live in Stockton, CA, site of the first big school shooting in 1989, when Patrick Purdy shot 35 children and teachers before killing himself. In all that time, we've done pretty much nothing to prevent the next one. As a result there have been dozens more, and now there's Sandy Hook. How many more dead kids can YOU handle?
