The net effect of daylight savings time is negative. It doesn't save time. It doesn't save much energy. It causes deaths from schedule and sleep disruption. It costs millions for time and schedule changes twice annually. When will we admit this is the one idea Ben Franklin had that was terrible?

An independent prosecutor must be assigned to investigate Trump. The Republicans in the House and Senate have joined together to ensure that there will not be a thorough unbiased investigation into a foreign power hacking into our Presidential elections. In the two months since this administration has been in the White House, continuous lying is the foundation of their governing. The Republican held house and Senate are joining in a cover up of what could be the most traitorous actions by any government officials in our history. They are not protecting the American people, but are protecting their power. We need to start demanding the truth from our government officials. Our voices were united at the March, now let's join together again to unite around this issue. Our goal is to do a monthly economic strike. Join us for the first one on March 20th, this means no food shopping, snacks, gas, drug stores, on-line shopping, nothing, but you can buy a newspaper.

Conjugal visits would help inmates who are married and help them to remain on their best behavior. It would help them to know what's important..keeping them out of trouble and close as possible to their partner for there would be something else for them to do and something to look forward too .. if they had conjugal visits being In Trouble would be the last thought on their brains.. they deserve to feel loved especially if they really want to change. I would highly recommend conjugal visits being in the state of Indiana for families to keep close and for inmates to stay on their best behavior so they can fulfill their needs and family needs.

A social media campaign called "Sleeping Giants" led more than 1,000 companies to stop advertising on the white nationalist website Breitbart.com. Virtually every major corporation worldwide has blocked their ads from appearing on Breitbart, but one glaring exception remains: Amazon. Breitbart is the white nationalist website formerly run by Trump adviser Steve Bannon. It's racist, sexist, and spreads hate against Muslims. Breitbart regularly has headlines like "Birth control makes women unattractive and crazy" and "The Confederate flag proclaims a glorious heritage." It is way outside of the American mainstream, even in these polarizing times. It's well past time for Amazon to stop supporting hate. Please ask Amazon to remove their ads from Breitbart.com and adopt a policy to ban advertising on any website that promotes hate.

Freedom of the press is under attack with the unsupported allegations of President Trump that "Fake News" is being presented by the press. This allegation cannot be made if there is no proof to support it. The American people deserve a press free to present us the truth even if that truth is not what President Trump wants us to know.

There are MANY hunters and youth hunters who do not have much time during the week to hunt. The numbers of hunters, and youth hunters in this state are dropping every year. Many families have to work 6 days a week to make ends meet. There are parents who are unable to take the youth hunters hunting because only having Sundays off. Allowing Sunday hunting will give youth hunters and parents extra opportunities to go hunting on Sundays. Most of these hunters are home from work and school on Sunday.

Next Tuesday, when President Trump speaks before Congress, we want to make sure our Congressman, Eliot Engel, ends his tradition of shaking every president's hand at every State of the Union. With every day, this president tramples on the traditions that have served to protect our freedoms and rights. He spouts lies with geyser-like regularity. He demonizes people because of their race, their religion, or their place of national origin. He thinks the judiciary is not allowed to question his decisions. He claims that the free press is "an enemy of the people." A handshake, especially one in such a public setting, is more than a mere formality. It is a gesture of respect. It's time for Rep. Engel to show some spine.

Yes, my girlfriend found out I was infaithful to her and used the Courts to issue a Domestic Violence Restraining Order against me, for disturbing her peace. The Order takes away the freedom of men, without the use of their Constitutional Rights, they take a real Batterer, like Oj Simpson, who terrorized hios wife Nicole, and then murdered her , Then on National Television, got off on the charges when everyone knew he was guilty .The Government vowed to never let this happen again. Our Government via Joe Biden, enacted the WAWA 1994, that is the best protection a woman could ever want; unfortunately it strips all rights of men who may just have an argument with their wife , she can run down, to the family Court fill an affidavit, DV109, 100, 120, 110, 130 the CLETS form, these forms present a primae facie Case to the Court( if unopposed it would prevail on the allegations of abuse), whetheer they are true or not. The fact that a Woman goes through the trouble of filling out the forms, is sufficient for these Courts to implement the intent of the Act , which is to prevent a battered woman from returning to continuuing abuse. All men have Domocles Sword hanging over their head, with these disparate laws, referred to in California Family Code 6200 et, seq. Section 6320 are the elements of this section ranging from disturbing the peace of another, verbal abuse, harassment and then ranging up to Physical Battering and Rape of the victim. The Courts and our Representatives have conveniently, put all these separate categories in to one section for ease of conviction of not a real batterer, but it could be a normal fight between a husband and wife, anbd the wife if she knows what to do , can get more than even with her husband for disturbing her peace. The Courts required to enforce the intention of the DVPA, even if sacrifices the freedom of all men, the motto is better a man sacrifificed than woman hurt. Most of this bombast is about future abuse, that might happen again, and the Courts are mandated to searate the parties 1-10 years, with a restraining order agaisnt the man( they really FEIGN that it is for the protection of men, that is bolderdash. IT PROTECTS WOMEN ONLY You have to distinguish between the Civil DVRO and the Criminal DVRO, they are basically the same except the Criminal guy (with criminal procedure rights) beats his wife brutally and gets the same DVRO as the Civil guy, who may have just lost a verbal argument to his wrathful wife who looks for vindication form the Courts who are happy to pass out DVROs against men,(without criminal procedure rights) its their legislative order and mandate that they do so. The real fabrications are in the statistics they cite about DV, they are as Trump states, alternative facts. The Act is a money make for the Government, both Federal and State , benefits, therapy groups, and if was put on NASDAQ, it would be a winning investment for the investor. The take home message is not that Domestic Violence should not be stopped, because it should but the way the law is written is void for vagueness, overbroad, and violates the over breadth doctrine of the Constitution, it needs to be re written to conform to the Constitution of the United States and the Human Rights Commision of 1948. It is not for the greater good as some believe( you cannot suspend a man criminal procedure and make it Civil for ease of conviction of the accused, and further the sacrifice of one innocent man and his freedom so a woman can be saved is not equal protection under the 14 th amendment. Please rewrite the VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMAN ACT 2013, AND THE CALIFORNIA DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ACT SO THAT MEN ARE PROTECTED FULLY COMPLETELY AND CONSTITUIONALLY UNDER THE LAW . Not utilizing the intent of preventing future abuse as Standard for issuing a DVRO. PLEASE DO NOT EXTEND THE VAWA AFTER IT EXPIRES IN 2018, REWRITE THIS ACT AND THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ACT, SO THAT PEOPLE DO NOT PROFIT FROM IT, SO THAT IT PROTECTS WOMEN WITHOUT SACRIFICING INNOCENT MEN. LONG LIVE THE INTENT OF THE FOUNDING FATHERS AS IT APPLIES TO THIS ISSUE.
