Development of LDS Church on Hunters Mill and CrowellOur community has had several meetings held between the LDS Church and members of the community on the proposed development of the LDS Church located on the corner of Hunters Mill Road and Crowell. Even though the community has outlined conditions to ensure that the Hunters Mill area is preserved under current zoning, our concerns have been ignored.533 of 600 SignaturesCreated by HunterMill

Rename The John Wayne Trail to The Sacajawea Bike TrailIt's time to end our political indifference to the native tribes of Washington State, who were here long before European settlement. Naming a cross state bike trail after a Hollywood actor who made movies that glorified the death and destruction of our indigenous people is a slap in the face to our native tribes. Sacajawea is a famous explorer, and should be recognized for her efforts. Renaming the cross state bike trail after her helps correct a portion of the racial imbalance that has affected generations and generations of our indigenous tribes.96 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Erik Nelson

Donald Trump Is Not Who We AreDonald Trump is trying to erase months of racist rhetoric, by changing his stance on immigration. It’s more important than ever that we stand together against the racial, religious and other intolerance that Donald Trump’s policies and rhetoric promotes. It is putting Latinos, Muslim-Americans, those with disabilities, and so many others directly at risk. If we speak with one voice now, we can stand up for those in our community most at risk from Trump’s rhetoric and policies, and defeat his brand of hate once and for all. Join us in saying: Donald Trump is Not Who We Are.102 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Rosy Kalfus

Dear Space Committee: Clear Marta's name!On Tuesday, August 30, 2016, dirty, Nutella-laden dishes were found in the Wellspring kitchen. Allegations against a known Nutella aficionado Marta Conner have emerged. Marta denies all involvement and has suggested she was set up. Was it Mike Edington? The Russians? We may never know, but the Children's Anti-poverty Program is intent on clearing her name. Will you sign a petition and show Marta we've got her back?17 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ryan

Eliminate wv motor vehicle inspectionThis petition is to eliminate WV motor vehicle inspection. Every year I personally, and many other West Virginians, struggle to get a WV motor vehicle inspection to make our vehicle legal. It's not because our cars are junk or a major hazard to be on the road, it's over petty things such as window tint or because the inspection stations do not want to take time out of their busy day to do a vehicle inspection in which they make no money. This leads to the shops charging us for unnecessary repairs so that they can make some money. Too many West Virginians cannot afford to keep their older vehicles on the road when new car standards are required by inspections or inspection stations are just trying to make a little money.42,886 of 45,000 SignaturesCreated by Corey gilchrist

Justice For CalebMr. Sam Olens Attorney General State of Georgia Chief Turner Atlanta Police Department Mr Paul Howard Fulton County District Attorney Dear Parties Stated Above: We would respectfully like to ask you to have all appropriate divisions investigate the Fulton County Animal Service's handling of the abuse and ultimate death of Puppy Caleb. Puppy Caleb was found on August 10, 2016 at 1449 Murray Street, Atlanta GA – he was beaten, raped, starved, had cigarette burns all over his body, broken jaw and was thrown over a high fence at this location which resulted in a fractured skull – he was approximately 4 months old. This was on the news – with a video of him at the animal hospital crying in pain. He ultimately died – his injuries too much for his little body to overcome. Now the Fulton County Animal Services released a statement saying there was no evidence of him being abused. How could that possibly be? The horror that this poor puppy endured in his short life deserves more than sweeping the facts under the rug to avoid having to deal with the people that are seeking Justice for Caleb. We want this monster brought to justice – it is a proven fact that violence of serial killer begins with the abuse of animals – it could be a child or elderly person next. Please consider having your office look into this most serious matter. Please watch informative video provided here: http://meredithaz.worldnow.com/story/32762448/justice-for-caleb-fulton-county-abuse-prompts-nationwide-outpouring We demand justice! http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/justice4calebthetorturedpuppy This petition above was started when we did not have all current email addresses . As you can see, there are an additional 12,000 plus signatures demanding justice for precious Caleb. Please we beg you for justice for the puppy who is now our "nation's" puppy!1,858 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Carol Hartsock

Extending Time Limit on Downtown ParkingThose of us who live in Staunton or work in the downtown area, we know how it works, we know where to park, how long we can stay there, and many of us have our parking passes. BUT, let's focus on the people who do not come here every day, the tourist, the county person, or the out of town shopper, they need time to shop and grab a bite to eat. Two hours does not allot enough time to do this. I know many people come into our store only to leave early because of having to move the car. Some say they return but most of the time they do not. Once in the car, they usually leave, taking their dollars with them. Extending the parking limit to 4 hours would give people enough time to shop, eat, and maybe even catch a movie.28 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sissy Hutching

Mayor Landrieu: Save New Orleans East From BlightThis is a petition to get rid of blight in the New Orleans East area, namely Hearthwood East Condominiums site. The condominiums were torn down post Katrina. Eleven years later, the site at 5505 Bundy Road is a crime inducing, Zika mosquito breeding site and an eyesore. Grass grows into the street, blocking cars. It is located next to a bustling post office, and is across from modern, well kept homes of middleclass residents, and is adjacent to thriving neighborhood businesses. New Orleans has a 311 number and a code enforcement number 658-4346, 658-5050 for residents to call. Our Wimbledon Civic Association has called for several years asking for the property grounds to be cut and fumigated. There is currently a hole in the street manhole, right across from the property at Bundy and Tilford. We cannot get it repaired so the problem with that neglected site is increasing. Residents have been on television several times asking the city to cut the grass but to no avail. Today, I telephoned and left a message with code enforcement that I have been tasked by our Civic Association to write a petition. When it rains heavily, this overgrown site causes street flooding. The site has now become a tire dumping, zika mosquito breeding health hazard. We ask all concerned citizens to please sign this petition for our officials to take action right a way to get the grass cut, debris cleared and land fumigated, at 5505 Bundy Road, New Orleans, Louisiana 70127. Thank you, Connie Hamilton, Wimbledon Civic Association33 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Connie Hamilton

Stop Cal-Am Inc. from Evicting 400 home park residences. We, over 1200 residents of Heritage Village Manufactured Home Park in Beaverton, Oregon, are being unconscionably forced from our homes so that Property Managers can generate more profit by leveling our structures and replacing them with new homes. Many of us are disabled, elderly on fixed incomes or otherwise unable to upgrade our properties within the 30 day time period demanded by unscrupulous management. We agree that beautification efforts are a plus and do support community improvements, however, terminations for house colors, picket fencing, faded posts, firewood placement, etc is not only wrong but is harassing and exposes the worst aspects of business greed.2,035 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Wayne Smith
