Even worse, CNN is hiring Lewandowski and Nell Hughes in order to cater specifically to Donald Trump supporters - since their regular Republican contributors oppose Donald Trump’s candidacy. By hiring Corey Lewandowski as a regular commentator, CNN is effectively validating the opinions of someone who repeatedly denied press access to journalists covering Donald Trump’s campaign, was charged with a misdemeanor after forcibly grabbing reporter who was attempting to ask Donald Trump a question, and who helped normalize Donald Trump’s dangerous and toxic rhetoric. By hiring Scottie Nell Hughes, CNN is demonstrating that it is willing to promote the opinions of an individual who has defended Donald Trump’s use of anti-Semitic imagery on Twitter and has promoted riots at the Republican National Convention. If we want to stop Donald Trump’s racist rhetoric from spreading, then we keep biased political commentators like Corey Lewandowski and Scottie Nell Hughes from appearing on networks like CNN. There have been hundreds of thousands of American citizens killed during police interactions. This petition is a request that we honor all the lost lives by commemorating them with a national memorial that recognizes the pain of our country and calls for an end to this senseless waste of precious lives. As derby skaters and roller skaters we are part of an athletic and social movement - and people are watching us! This includes all the kids in our communities. We wear our helmets because it's important for our brains - and the brains of everyone who looks up to us. Brains are so much better than hair! We wear our helmets and you should too!

Fireworks in city neighborhoods are out of control because too many people are shooting off illegal fireworks, which frighten our pets causing them to run away in fear, and disrupt our peace of mind. Over 500 animals were reported missing this 4th of July. Veterans and others who suffer from PTSD are also affected by these loud blasts. The potential for property damage is also high. We are a drought-stricken state and the fire danger is always a threat when people shoot off fireworks. Ban fireworks in neighborhoods. Let people go see them in designated venues where they are controlled and safe. While we are targeting Mayor Carolyn Goodman and Governor Brian Sandoval to receive this petition, we also believe this message needs to go to leaders all over Southern Nevada. There are existing laws banning fireworks in Clark County, but they aren't enforced.

We have family members and friends that live in this area and it will do more harm than good. Property values will decrease and drainage will tremendously affect this area. To house over 1000 new residents in an area that has a one way in and out is ridiculous, because the roads can not sustain such an increase.
