There have been hundreds of thousands of American citizens killed during police interactions. This petition is a request that we honor all the lost lives by commemorating them with a national memorial that recognizes the pain of our country and calls for an end to this senseless waste of precious lives. As derby skaters and roller skaters we are part of an athletic and social movement - and people are watching us! This includes all the kids in our communities. We wear our helmets because it's important for our brains - and the brains of everyone who looks up to us. Brains are so much better than hair! We wear our helmets and you should too!

Fireworks in city neighborhoods are out of control because too many people are shooting off illegal fireworks, which frighten our pets causing them to run away in fear, and disrupt our peace of mind. Over 500 animals were reported missing this 4th of July. Veterans and others who suffer from PTSD are also affected by these loud blasts. The potential for property damage is also high. We are a drought-stricken state and the fire danger is always a threat when people shoot off fireworks. Ban fireworks in neighborhoods. Let people go see them in designated venues where they are controlled and safe. While we are targeting Mayor Carolyn Goodman and Governor Brian Sandoval to receive this petition, we also believe this message needs to go to leaders all over Southern Nevada. There are existing laws banning fireworks in Clark County, but they aren't enforced.

We have family members and friends that live in this area and it will do more harm than good. Property values will decrease and drainage will tremendously affect this area. To house over 1000 new residents in an area that has a one way in and out is ridiculous, because the roads can not sustain such an increase.

Versailles is one of the most well-respected Latino restaurants in Miami, and they are allowing Donald Trump to use their space to spread his divisive anti-Latino agenda. Donald Trump's hate filled rhetoric is having a real impact on Latinos. Since Donald Trump announced his campaign, there has been a spike of racist acts directed at members of the Latino community, and many of these incidents can be tied directly to Donald Trump and his supporters. Versailles should not be opening their doors to promote Donald Trump and his hateful agenda. Donald Trump and his rhetoric are not welcome in Miami.

Because I was violated of my Constitutional Rights the 4th Amendment, the 6th Amendment, the 9th Amendment and the 14th Amendment, and everyone that I wrote to in Kentucky has paid me no attention, I want Justice. A lot of families that are moving out of town to Lexington, Kentucky are being torn apart because they want to adopt kids out for money. They are supposed to try and reunite families together, but instead they tear families apart. Something needs to be done because we all have rights; they don't abide by their own rules to help families.

On Friday, June 25th, 2016, two neighbor dogs were running loose and threatened family members at 402 W Hunt St. They viciously attacked my son with intent to kill. It is important to my family and others in this community that action be taken against owner Alison Ricks, that these dogs be permanently removed from our City, and that we be informed as to where these dogs are taken to what their outcome is.

The Democratic Platform drafting committee rejected amendments to oppose the TPP agreement [1] and to oppose the expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
