Florida superdelegates: Let the voters decide! As a resident of the state of Florida, ground zero for the 2000 Republican election vote scandal, I am deeply concerned that the Florida superdelegates will rubber-stamp a primary candidate that has not gotten the most pledged delegates. Florida superdelegates must ensure a democratic process, just as the name of the party who will decide the nominee for president indicates. Florida superdelegates: Commit to voting for the candidate with the most pledged delegates at the Democratic National Convention in July.4,030 of 5,000 SignaturesCreated by Harriet Heywood

Florida Superdelegates: Support the will of the voters at the Democratic Party conventionI honestly feel if the super delegates are shown to be voting against the will of the voters it will cause real damage to the Democratic Party. We are a party with a strong activist and grassroots tradition and should that base feel misrepresented it will have a terrifying negative effect on the general elections all the way down the ticket.78 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Steven Tea

Connecticut Superdelegates: Let voters decide!Representation is just that: when state "representatives" don't move with the will of the people, there is no representation. Whoever wins the pledged delegate vote should get the superdelegate's support, no whoever they personally prefer.52 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ben Schenkman

Pennsylvania superdelegates: Let voters decide!I am a parent and a Marine veteran of Afghanistan, and I care deeply about the way in which U.S. elections work for "We the People." In my extensive travels to foreign countries, I've emphasized that it's the voters who decide elections in the U.S. I want to make sure that this primary doesn't prove me wrong.3,172 of 4,000 SignaturesCreated by Thomas Michael Corcoran

Montana Super Delegates: Let the Voters Decide the NomineeAs a historian familiar with how money has undermined elections in the state of Montana in the past, I urge all Montanans, including our “Super Delegates,” to stand up for real democracy, and not just for the party elites and moneyed interests.428 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Diane Smith

Michigan Superdelegates: Let the Voters Decide! The voters have access to all the information they need to make an educated decision on who to vote for. Superdelegates should support the voters and wait to pledge support to candidates until the voters have expressed their views!42 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Casandra Bouwhuis

Washington state unpledged delegates: Let voters decide!Simply put, the superdelegate system is extremely undemocratic and probably should be abolished. Giving a group of Democratic party loyalists and politicians a "super vote" gives elites more power than the average voter.35,075 of 40,000 SignaturesCreated by Charlie Best

Vermont Superdelegates: Let voters decide! To allow "super-delegates" to vote AGAINST our vote is to disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of voters. "Super-delegates" put their interests and personal relationships above the needs of the citizenry. It is an indefensible corruption of the democratic voting process. There should not be "super-delegates" in place to protect those already entrenched in power in the first place, that is how oligarchy and corruption is perpetuated. But the least they can do is vote with the people until this corruption can be fixed through policy reform.105 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Linden Politi

California Superdelegates: Follow the Voters! The popular vote, not established party machine politics, should decide who the California Democratic Party endorses for President in the California Primary! Superdelegates, pledge to follow the voters and endorse the candidate who wins the popular vote in the primary. Christine Pelosi has made this pledge; please follow her example. Thanks for upholding the democratic ideals embodied by voting.51 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Cynthia Papermaster

Petition to have Hillary Clinton & Bernie Sanders on ONE DEMOCRATIC TICKET!It is my wish to see both Democratic candidates join on one ticket, regardless of who wins the primary election. Both candidates are strong, both hold very similar, if not identical views on various topics, and both candidates on the same ticket can WIN the presidential election! The following is a copy of a letter that was sent to the campaign offices of both candidates: Let me begin by saying that I have had a difficult time composing this letter because of its importance. It is very possible that I may provide too much information or not enough. I realize that this letter, similar to the phone call that I previously made to your campaign office, could fall on deaf ears or may not be brought to your attention. Due to the importance of the subject, I must take the necessary steps to ensure you have the opportunity to review and consider my suggestion. Those steps include: A. Contacting your campaign office via telephone B. Writing you C. Submitting copies of said letter to the media in hopes that they may ask for a response from you. After following both you and your opponent’s political campaign and extensively reviewing each of your platforms, I would truly like to see a democratic ticket that reflects the political expertise, the strength of character, and the ambitions of both Democratic running candidates. In other words, each of you should consider the other for a Vice Presidential running mate, depending on who wins in the primary election. To accept the premise that the needs and concerns of the American people come before any other consideration, political or self-serving, that via compromise and cooperation, it is possible to combine both platforms to bring about solutions to many of our social ills. It is my hope that the Democrats reach a higher plane and stop the bashing of each other in their attempts to prove to the people that they are best suited for the job. The American people deserve more than individuals with a single-minded approach to what we face as a nation. Let history show that the Democrats were first to say this election wasn’t Sanders or Clinton- it is Sanders AND Clinton and the people will decide who will be their nominee for President. I look forward to the possibility to discussing the pros and cons of what I have propose with you and your staff. Sincerely, Reginald Daniels It is my hope to get enough people to sign this petition who have the same breadth of vision and believe that both candidates can effect change in this country if they join forces and work together, rather than working against each other and essentially, against the best interest of the American people.18 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Reginald Daniels
