  • Congress: Require ALL U.S. Political Candidates to Provide Their Full Birth Record
Historically, precise birth data of world leaders has always been recorded and available to the public. In monarchies, the moment of birth of any heir to a throne is (to this very day) formally announced and published by the nation of his/her birth. The births of many early U.S. presidents were recorded in family bibles. But in recent years, knowing the value of precise birth times (to astrologers in particular), many candidates have guarded that information. We believe that this information should, going forward, ALWAYS be public. In 2008 -- continuing well into his presidency, and despite publishing his long form Hawaiian birth certificate -- President Obama has been continuously harassed by unfounded charges that he was not born in the USA. This, while Ted Cruz and John McCain were born in Canada and Panama respectively. Long form birth certificates routinely state the date, precise time and place of birth. We have never seen Hillary Clinton's birth record nor that of Ted Cruz or Bernie Sanders, so clearly this is a non-partisan issue. Let's insist that all candidates be treated equally and be required to provide this important document to the American public.

  • Ban Handheld Cellphone Use While Driving in North Carolina!
In the United States of America, cellphone use while driving causes 1 in 4 car accidents. Today, while driving with my mom, a lady was on her cellphone and went through a stop sign without stopping or looking, and almost caused us to get into a car accident! Other states banned this for a great reason, to help keep drivers safer. Shouldn't North Carolina, too?

  • Stop ONLINE Cheating
I have witnessed multiple teams in on-line gaming cheat in order to win tournments and large sums of money. Young people cannot win in these games anymore without the aid of "Cheats" which can be purchased on-line or created by online hackers. Very talented youth are not able to use their skill to win; instead they are manipulated into acquiring these "Cheats" to win. This causes a belief system that encourages youth to follow the path of cheating to get ahead in all areas of their lives. It is morally wrong and needs to be stopped by better regulation and monitoring of these platforms. We would like to start by banning Team Carbon and the cheaters on it.

  • National Day for All Native American Code Talkers
We need to commemorate and honor those Code Talkers who devoted their lives for a country that didn't recognize their existence until well after World Wars I and II ended. A national day will recognize all Veterans, Native and non-Native, and highlight the contributions of a small group and have such an extraordinary impact. • Reinstate Mickey Profera's BSA membership
My husband can no longer be a member of the Boy Scouts of America because of one man's opinion of him. This includes being a Cub Scout Den Leader for our 7 year old son. Our son is beside himself about this bullying of his Dad. Mickey is a 31 year Scouter, an Eagle Scout, a merit badge counselor, worked at Scout summer camp for 12 years, and is a Cub Scout Den Leader. Please help us fight this injustice and bullying.

  • Tell Democrats to STOP Red-Baiting of Bernie Sanders
The Democratic power brokers proved they are in Wall Street's back pocket today, when Clinton campaign operative, Senator Claire McCaskill, began red-baiting presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, urging media to call him "a socialist" and calling Sander's ideas extreme. Sander's ideas of expanding Social Security and Healthcare and increasing the minimum wage, are ALL things the American people want in polls. Sounds like the pro-Wall Street Clinton operatives are the extreme ones.

  • Legalize hemp/maijuanna use !
This petition is about the uses of hemp or marijuana . Personally yes I have been affected by this law . I've been charged with possession (I am not guilty) but it still doesn't make since . Even if I did have it on me that doesn't mean I'm a criminal . I could've been in jail for something that isn't harmful and hasn't caused any deaths so far recorded and the substance has been here longer than any of us. Come on peanuts have killed more people than hemp / maijuanna has thats 200 deaths per year to 0 deaths at all . Legalize it !

  • Make 9/11 a Holiday to honor those who lost their lives.
Many lives were lost on this horrific day, 9/11/01. This day should be a Holiday so that we can honor ALL of the lives that were taken from us. You want us to teach our children about that day, then why not start with a day to honor them.
