In a landscape of reality TV & recycled dramas, "Forever" stands above the field as an engaging, thoughtful and creative show that builds upon a unique concept: A medical/police procedural with a fantasy/Sci-fi twist. Dr. Henry Morgan can't die and he uses his knowledge gained over the last 200 plus years to solve crimes in New York. We, the loyal viewers, think this kind of high concept and certainly high-quality television is missing from network television. We are asking the ABC powers that be to reconsider this decision and commit to bringing "Forever" back for a sophomore season.

We are deeply concerned about possible developments and zoning changes at 72 Caton Place. We are a small neighborhood surrounded by 4 major traffic arteries critical to the area, and we are at risk to head into a level of density unparalleled in our part of Brooklyn. We are trying to preserve a singular cultural institution (Kensington Stables) and welcome a vitally important new school with safe streets and traffic areas. We have yet to tackle the built-in challenges: an inadequate sewage system, narrow streets, and a large influx of new residents in 22 Caton and The Kestrel. This is a critical moment where we have an opportunity to preserve a neighborhood. Kensington Stables: This Brooklyn institution, which represents the diversity of culture and architecture in our neighborhood, could be disastrously impacted by increased traffic on Caton Place — particularly on the block between Coney Island Avenue and East 8th Street. Riders will have no safe area to mount the horses, no place for pony rides and dangerously difficult access to the bridal paths. Infrastructure: East 8th Street, an essential thru street in the neighborhood, is currently virtually impassable to 2 way traffic. We also question whether the existing sewer system is adequate for the increasing population. Rapid Density Ramp: PS437, 22 Caton Place and the Kestrel have not yet even been factored into the local equation. They represent massive changes to this neighborhood. Cars are already double-parked on busy Coney Island Avenue weekday mornings and afternoons outside the International Baptist Church, and on Coney Island Avenue for Brooklyn College Academy High School. On the weekends, cars are parked on sidewalks on Caton Place while volunteers manage traffic into and out of church parking lots. Meanwhile AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization) families circle the block looking for parking for the games at the parade grounds. This is all before the PS 437 opens, and 22 Caton and the Kestrel become fully occupied.

The Department of Defense recently asked for $585 billion for its operations around the world, roughly half of our "discretionary budget" (the annual budget paid for with our federal income tax dollars, as opposed to appropriations mandated by previous law like Social Security, which we pay for through payroll taxes.) We have all wanted to keep our streets safe and not allow illegal aliens to drive. Unfortunately, this statement is by far inaccurate, since then the number of people driving without insurance has skyrocketed. How is this safe for the public?

I have written daily to Facebook and they refuse to acknowledge that this type of social media is attracting many disturbed individuals that have nothing more to say than to create a base of hatred. I would like to create a petition that asks powerful social media outlets like Facebook to send a strong message regarding how important it is not to all this kind of hate, anger and racism flourish and to block it permanently.

I am starting this petition because I will be financially raped for the next sixteen years (when he turns 65) because my ex-husband refuses to provide for himself, improve his education or look for full-time employment. I want to be able to retire early (I've worked full-time since I was 18) or change careers to one making substantially less than I make right now but the law requires me to pay based on what I could be earning. This madness MUST stop.

We are tired of the local news media outlet companies listed: Twenty-First Century Fox Inc. (FOX) • Time Warner Inc. (TWX) • Time Warner Cable (TWC) • WPP Plc. (WPPGY) • CBS Corporation (CBS) • Viacom Inc. (VIAB) • Comcast Corp (CMGSA) • GE corp • News Corp • Disney as Fox, CBS, MSNBC. These media outlets are sending out negative social media content like race dividing, negative politics, false election and poll reporting, reporter instigating , crime, war and police propaganda on social media. Facebook has a large kid and teenagers audience that are exposed to these derogatory, graphic videos and images that local news media outlets are posting with their stories. This technique is used to make it's viewers desensitized and to think this is normal behavior in the world we live in. This is not normal behavior and we find it offensive. American Girl, don't take history away. Last year, you retired four dolls. 4. Why are you taking Caroline from us, too? Learning about the War of 1812 is not in the Common Core. Trust me, I never heard of the War of 1812 until Caroline came out. And my Caroline is having a tough time with school and stuff, and you are just making her feel so depressed that I'll let her stay "home" from school. Plus, Caroline is my sister Sierra's favorite historical. She'll scream if I tell her! And plus, in early 2013, fresh from Caroline's release, there were 13 historicals. With Maryellen coming and Caroline retiring, they'll be 8 dolls in the BeForever lineup at the end of 2015. And besides, Caroline only was a historical for three years, barely. Also, bring back all the archived dolls if you can and try to not retire any dolls. Pleasant Rowland started your company to teach girls history, not take it away from them!

As an artist in Chicago, I had the opportunity to see how the late Malachi Thompson created venues for musicians, poets and all artistically inclined, to showcase their talents. He had an intergenerational outreach and supplied it with internationally known poets like Amiri Baraka and musicians like Roscoe Mitchell and Wayne Shorter. Malachi created jobs for poets and artists like me and he paid us well. He also supplied opportunities to be featured on his CDs, videos and appearances in Jazz clubs, college campuses and annual Jazz Festivals. Some know that, for years, Thompson battled a rare form of cancer, yet it did not keep him from pursuing his life's purpose and helping many others along the way.

I believe this ban has more to do with race than anything else.
