The building will invade privacy by allowing views into neighboring homes, will block views, and the now discreet campus will become an industrial feeling business building. A building of this scale does not belong in our residential community and goes against the original Terra Linda Master Plan of neighborhood schools!

I would like Rails and Trails running between Remsen Lake Placid corridor so people that like trails can have trail runs, walk and bike on and those people like me would like to have upgraded and have ski trains in the winter time and etc. There is no reason why we can't have both rails and trails because we can.

Beautiful, strong, and wild, America’s wolves once ranged across most of the United States. More than a symbol of wilderness, wolves have kept nature in balance and have helped maintain healthy populations of other important species. But centuries of hunting, trapping, and poisoning, and a government-sponsored eradication campaign, had essentially eliminated wolves from the American landscape. Today, thanks to the Endangered Species Act, wolves are finally beginning to recover in wild places and are once again a vital part of America’s natural heritage. Yet the Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) has no plans to restore wolves to substantial areas of wilderness where they once lived. And, even more disturbing, FWS no longer wants to protect wolves as an endangered species. We have a responsibility to use the best available science to leave behind a legacy of protecting all endangered species for our children and future generations. We are gravely concerned that actions by state and federal agencies aim to undermine wolf recovery.

According to Lyon Township proposal AP-14-45b, AT&T Wireless Tower would like Special Land Use for the property located on the northwest corner of 10 Mile and Milford Road (Shoppes of Lyon). Public hearing to consider a special land use request to allow a proposed 140’ monopole tower; discussion and possible action. We need to band together and STOP this from being erected near our homes! It will be detrimental to our home/property value, potentially hurting the increasing value of our NEW homes. And not to mention It will be a 140 foot tall unappealing tower that will be clearly visible from everywhere. Voter turn out is embarrassingly low. Often election results do not reflect the general consensus. People are led to think their vote does not count, so they don't vote and are unhappy with the outcome. It is everyone's civic duty to vote. Many countries have compulsory voting. It's time we introduce it here before our elections are 100% bought/sold.

We need to vote to protect public education at all levels in Illinois.

Don't allow Ms. Thomas abuse any more people by letting her rent. I am a mother of two teenage boys protesting selective service and the antiquated practice of conscription. My children do not belong to the state. It is my responsibility to protect them from harm and all threats to their health and well being. Facebook is failing to live up to its obligations under its terms of service. It is failing to prevent the platform being used to spread hate and take it viral. Example of clear antisemitism that were reported to Facebook have now been reviewed by them and they have decided not to take any action. The picture of Anne Frank with the text "Whats that burning? Oh, my it's my family" is just one outragous example which was reported to Facebook only for the complaint to be dismissed. The company is letting down the Facebook community, that is us, the people. Change the way reports regarding pages are managed. Pages should use the same “Support Dashboard” as complaints for photos, timelines and profiles. 2. Investigate how the complaints about the images shown at http://ohpi.org.au/?p=286 were rejected 3. Implement better training processes for staff managing complaints 4. Implement ongoing regular systematic audits of complaints processed by front line staff Hate speech can target either a person or a group of people. It includes speech targeting all people of a particular race, nationality, ethnicity, country of origin, religion, sexuality, gender identity, gender, or on the basis of a medical condition or disability. Facebook’s terms of service, the “Statement of Rights and Responsibilities”, clearly state: “You will not post content that: is hate speech”. Facebook must act to remove the hate.

Park Slope has no mass transit access for the aging and disabled. Therefore, the only way for residents to go to appointments in Manhattan, including doctor, family , educational and cultural visits, usually requires that they drive or take car service. This increases environmental pollution thus negating an important goal of urban living. In addition , it is an added expense to this population many of whom live on fixed budgets and must deal with the costs of living in New York ,one of the most expensive cities in the USA.
