I have seen the negative impact that growing up listening to gunfire has had an affect on the development of young people within earshot. Tax payers as well as young people should not endure the sound of gunfire in residential neighborhoods.

I want to see this drive in theater back in business. They just opened the Parmont Drive in theater why not the Oceanside as well. It would bring much need money to the economy as well. Please save this Icon from being torn down and turned into another shopping mall.

As a pet owner and father, I see so many articles of pets being shot in front of children for the misdemeanor of a dog off it's leash on his own family's property. This cruel and unusual punishment serves no one, instills a fear of law enforcement, creates a loss of life, and makes difficult questions for a parent to answer to a child. Non lethal rounds can serve as an effective way to enforce a leash law without killing a family member.

Recently Denver Arts and Venues enacted a ban on exercise groups greater than 10 people at Red Rocks. When the tragedy of losing a soldier in war afflicts a community, usually the township allows the soldier to live on not in just spirit, but with a physical sign. There has been no progress made in honoring Kareem, a Purple Heart award winning soldier lost in Iraq to an IED, with a dedicated street in his hometown. We are not asking for the official name of a road to be renamed on the postal service and on maps, just a dedication as most communities in America honor their locally raised heroes.

Ronnie West-Howard is a friend to all in the school. He is a nice, friendly student who was given the maximum punishment which he did not deserve. We want him back in school.

I am starting this petition because after several of us parents have complained and called the schools, the Super Intendant, and the Sumter bus transportation offices, nothing has been done. We've even contacted media with no results. We are tired of fearing for our children every time they get on their buses. The drivers yell at the children, make them stand in the isle if they talk at all (unsafe), squeeze up to 4 per seat and then drive so fast and sharp that if they happen to slam their head on the seat in front of them, they get yelled at or for falling into the isle. They speed and often have almost hit a child or backed into a car, they have been caught swearing vulgar language in front of the children, often kids come off the bus in tears. We want cameras on the buses, we want more than one bus picking up all 3 schools, and we want drivers fired and investigated if need be!

Washington Park has been a health and fitness inspiring place for Colorado residents and known for its patrons love of sports like Volleyball, Football, Soccer and other mixed use. We the patrons of the park do not wish to be limited in our use or required to pay or apply for drop-in permits for a park that we already pay taxes to enjoy.
