• Why Are We Not Allowed To Wear Hoodies ?
I love my school honestly I believe that it is a fun school and is full of excitement but at the same time I am against one rule just one and that rule is that we can't wear hoodies I never understood why we couldn't , but I would love if we could change that rule now if the rule was to be changed here are some ideas if you see a student with the hood on you are allowed to take or remove the hoodie . I feel that the hoodies are not a big deal because we already have to wear uniforms so at least can we change one thing .

  • Reinstate Early Voting on the Weekends in Ohio
Early voting is already underway in Ohio. However, there will be no early voting on weekends this October thanks to the Secretary of State, Jon Husted. One week of October is already past us, and we need to make the next three count. This petition is to ask the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Josh Mandel to publicly call for Husted to reinstate early voting on weekends.

  • Romney's core beliefs
Romney cut the hair of a youth he believed was gay at the prestigious school he attended. He was a senior and the youth was a junior. Romney had a cohort from the wrestling team hold the young man down while Romney cut his hair as the young man screamed. Romney claims that he doesn't even remember the incident and it wasn't punished. Today Romney would be charged with assault with a deadly weapon, possible kidnapping as the boy was restrained and a number of other possible charges. As such, I would like to know what he feels is an adequate legal response to assault and bullying today? Was he engaged in so many such assaults that he fails to remember this one? And how does this transition to his current beliefs since he has been such an outspoken opponent of gay agendas lately. As a person who cares about the LGBT community, I feel this must be addressed. I do not feel Romney has changed from his previous bullying lifestyle, but has only changed techniques and tactics to accomplish his goal of denying the LGBT their rights. I would really like an answer.

  • End Veteran Homelessness
The Deed of 1888 needs to be upheld and the Supreme Court has said that it is unenforceable. The Deed provides a home for veterans on land now used only as a hospital. 400 acres of land left for vets that is being used for profit. In a city with more veterans than anywhere else in the USA this is unacceptable. In this election year please let our President know that you care that the Deed of 1888 is enforced.

  • Stop Abusing Tenants in Langley Park
Security guards are regularly harassing and intimidating residents at the Bedford Station, Victoria Station and Newbury Square apartments in Langley Park, MD. Three weeks ago, a roof collapsed at one of these apartments, injuring sleeping residents. Laramar Specialty Services manages these properties and has turned a blind eye to the harassment and deteriorating conditions. Many of the residents of these apartments are low-income Latino families. It's time to step up and stand up for our neighbors who deserve safe housing free of intimidation.

  • Stop Negative Campaign Ads
Everyone that I have talked with have voiced a disgust with both sides using negative ads to attack the other side. Both sides are using false and misleading statements against the other side when they should be "giving specific ideas and specific solutions for America's most pressing problems, like for the economy, for health care, for reducing our $15 trillion national debt, for ensuring long-term solvency of Social Security and Medicare."(AARP Bulletin) Also give us specific ideas and solutions for problems with the environment and energy.

I have seen a campaign of people challenging college students from voting in our town and it's clearly orchestrated by a devious group. I can only imagine the strategies in poor black or Hispanic areas.
