We've recently heard from folks in New York who think it is inappropriate for Rudy Giuliani to say that Mitt Romney "should be exploiting" the deadly Libyan embassy terrorist attack to get elected.

So far 6 muncipalties in PA have SPCA endorsed ordiances that make it illegal to teather dogs that spend their entire lives outside. Owners of any 24-7 outside dogs will be required to builed a kennel or to take their dogs inside regularely.

GOP candidate Chris Boedeker, with financial backing from House Speaker David Ralston and Speaker Pro Tem Jan Jones, produced and distributed a false campaign ad attacking State Rep. Scott Holcomb’s honorable military service. The attack ad was so filled with false accusations that Boedeker cancelled his planned purchase of television time to broadcast the ad in District 81. But the attack ad was funded, in part, by the House Leadership’s contribution to Boedeker’s campaign. Virtually all of Mr. Boedeker’s campaign funds have been donated by Republican elected officials. We are asking Speaker Ralston and other members of the Georgia House GOP leadership to stand on the side of Veterans and denounce this malicious political attack ad.

The PA Department of State is continuing to run ads on TV and radio saying that voters have "to show it", meaning photo ID, on election day. That requirement has been ruled nullified for this election, but they continue to run these ads, with the only slight change in script: "You will be asked (but not required) to show a valid photo ID". The way it is delivered is underhanded and violates the spirit of the judge's ruling. I am calling on the PA Dept. of State to stop running these ads immediately.

Get rid of the ASPCA drive targeted to contributing members of the community.

For years the Banks and the appraisal companies have colluded for the benefit of the Bank and to the Detriment of the Mortgagee. Stop the collusion and base appraisals on the cost of building that house today less depreciation. Eliminate comparative appraisals.

I got rid of my hardline phone service because I just couldn't afford it anymore. The next month was the start of overages I never had before and when I looked at the details of my bill I could see it was because of the extreamly long calls to "toll free" numbers where you get lost in automated phone systems and put on hold for long periods od time.

My petition is about encouraging President Obama to continue the concern of gun violence in America. He talked about gun violence, gun control and the families impacted by this type of violence during the debate. I have also been personally impacted by gun violence when I lost my innocent 16-year-old son, Blair Holt, May 10,2007. President Obama, then an Illinois U.S. Senator seeking the democratic presidential nomination, called my cell to express his condolences to me.

I am a Democrat living in Texas. I am represented by Republicans in the House and Senate. I didn't vote for these individuals. They don't support the Affordable Healthcare Act, bills for equal pay, regulating pollution/clean air and water, supporting domestic violence victims, a woman's right to choose/access to contraceptives, ending the Bush Tax cuts for the very wealthy. Are you represented by congressmen/women, and senators that you voted for/didn't vote who don't represent your interests/beliefs? These men and women were bought by special interest lobbyists. If so, I urge you to fire the bums and vote for Democrats/Progressive candidates. It's time for the gridlock caused by Republicans and Tea Party congresspeople/senators to end. It's time to move forward and address many issues that affect Americans. We need to pass legislation that will help veterans, students, the unemployed, women, the poor, illegal immigrants, the elderly. The time has come for change in Congress.

Our democracy depends on accurate counting and verification of votes. Machines that do not have a paper trail have been suspect. Every voter should have the assurance that every vote cast will have back up verification that can be recounted.

There has been a noticeable change in how restaurants display pricing for alcoholic beverages, in that most have completely removed all pricing information. There are several negative results of this action. First, it means that prices can change often without notice to the consumer. Second, it means that consumers are forced to ask in advance for pricing information everytime they visit the venue. This is an unfair business practice that should be corrected, because it puts the consumer at a disadvantage.
