I am a receiving social security now and it still is not enough to support a modest lifestyle. Medicare part B is still too expensive, so I must continue to work and use employer based health insurance. I have a heart condition and do not know how long I can continue to work.

Our goal is to save the U.S. Postal Service from drastic cuts in service. We want the postal service to cease closing mail processing plants. We want the postal service to continue 6 day delivery and we want the postal service to stop closing post offices and cutting retail operating hours. Our goal is to see the dramatic pre payments into retirement accounts to stop and be returned to the postal service. We are proud of our postal network in Oregon and want to keep it the way it is.

The Post Office is required by a lame-duck Republican law to prefund 75 years worth of pensions in only 10 years. That's why they are "in the red". This oppressive law should be repealed at once.

The effects of chained CPI benefit cuts will be cumulative. They will be felt at an age when women most need the help. As our other meager resources have diminished or been spent down, our Social Security benefits will be critical to our ability to live independently. But our Social Security benefits will not have keep pace with inflation. Married women outlive their spouses and may be on their own when the effects of the chained CPI kick in. Therefore, these cuts to Social Security will fall disproportionately on elderly women - single, divorced, widowed, .

I depend on both coverage to live a decent life. Social Security & Medicare.

I am a breast cancer survivor and I want to see more people survive not only breast cancer but other health challenges.

Please vote against any and every cut to Medicare, Medicaid, or Social Security benefits. The social safety net is sadly rent. Make a stand for us, and show the House leadership there is a line in the sand.

My wife is a 6 year breast cancer survivor. Our experience could only be imagined as a family that went through breast cancer treatment. There are other families going through tough health challenges and they are not rich to have healthcare coverage hence the need for Obamacare.

I am 67 years old. Fortunatley for me my husband is still working and I have health insurance through him but sooner or later I will need medicare. I have a whole host of medical issues. Without medicare I will not be able to afford my medical care.

As a retired senior and social security recipient, I do not support any benefit cuts or increase the age requirement to these programs. The deficit reduction savings can be achieved by negotiating with drugs companies to reduce cost and until all corporations tax loopholes and off shore tax havens are eliminated! Seniors, the middle class and the poor did not cause the debt problem. We the people had to bail out wall street and the banks. Now these same anti government republicans are trying to eliminate what we the people have paid for. If the " job creaters" were so much better than we the people, why did our we the people have to save them?

Vote against cuts to Social Security Benefits, MedCare, Medi-Cal/Medicaid!!! We cannot endure any more setbacks considering our cost of living in CA. Why must the poor, elderly and disabled ALWAYS be an easy target for budget cuts. If you were to trade income and benefits with those of us, YOU wouldn't last 12 days!!!!
