Wait List Priority for Seniors/People with Disabilites who live in Mentally and/or Physically Abu...Due to not enough housing available for the older adult population, I have been on wait lists for the past 2 years for affordable housing. I have been recently been declared disabled and live in a mentally abusive, possibly physically abusive situation. I have tried contacting every agency available in Linn/Benton county to advocate for me to get into housing sooner on wait lists due to my living situation. There are no agencies or laws to intervene in this matter. Even after letters from health care professionals and personal mental therapists relaying how unhealthy my living situation is - these have been cast aside and have no weight in this matter. I'm am STILL living in fear of not knowing what will happen next? I am sure there are others, like myself, in this type of situation. There should be exceptions on housing wait lists for those of us who are living with the same adversities.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Evelyn OKeefe

Take care of our ElderlyMany of Our Elderly are Existing in Poverty and our Government don't care. They want our Elderly to just die. _________________________________________________ Take care of our Elderly. They took care of you when you could not take care of yourself. Now it is your time to take care of them. They are "The Least Among Us". Increase their Social Security checks, so they can live out the rest of their life's with dignity. No one can live of $900 - $1200 per month. 60 - 70 percent of our elderly exist in poverty. The cost of a room in an assisted living facility starts at about $3500 + ++ per month. Our Elderly can't afford that and thousands of them don't have Medicaid to pay for it, so they exist in poverty and die alone. ALL of our elderly should qualify for Medicaid or Medicare should cover the cost for our Elderly.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Hailey Childs

Congressman DeFazio: No cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, or Social Security!!Cuts to programs like Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security are not only wrong, they will hurt our economy. Austerity measures have been proven ineffectual by Europe's experience, and now even the IMF is admitting that austerity doesn't work. The American people deserve better.193 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Jillian Littell

Keep 6-day delivery in PATo keep 6-day delivery in PA. The mandated pre-funding of retirement benefits is the sole purpose of the decline of the postal service. We want the government to return the pre-funded money back to the postal service so the postal service can strive for the excellence it has for the past 125-plus years in business.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Philip DeDomenico
