In Idaho we need ALL rape kits tested!Someone very close to me was violently raped and because the perpetrator got an attorney, he wasn't investigated at all. The rape kit is just sitting there, untested, and we are left picking up the pieces. I've spoken to many victims of rape who have been treated like they were the ones who were guilty while the perpetrators were treated with respect. I thought those days were over! Shame on Idaho and the Boise Police Department. These women want and need JUSTICE.53 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Mollie Carman

Let Senators Breastfeed on the Senate FloorMy name is Rachel, and my Senator, Tammy Duckworth, made history -- by giving birth to a daughter! In 230 years Senator Duckworth is the first Senator to give birth while in office, and as an Illinois voter and mom of two adorable kids, including a newborn, it makes me so proud. Like me, and most new moms in the country, I bet the challenges around returning to work are already on her mind. Senate rules prevent her from taking maternity leave, at least not without missing votes! And they don’t let her bring her new baby on the Senate floor -- so she might really struggle to prioritize breastfeeding when she has to rush back in time for votes. These Senate rules are ridiculously outdated - and send a terrible signal to employers everywhere. That’s why I’ve started a campaign to change the rules to allow all Senators to bring their babies to the floor (within the first year of the child’s life) -- join me! We have a severe and persistent leadership gap in this country. Just 5% of CEOs in Fortune 500 companies, 8% of Governors and 19% of Congress are women. As a result, there are so few leaders who have had the experience of giving birth at all, let alone while serving in office. It’s no surprise that our policies around birth and babies in America are among the worst in the world. We need to change that so new parents can fully lead and represent us. As Senator Duckworth says “whether you are a woman or a man, whether you're breastfeeding or not, or you've adopted, you should be able to bring that child on to the floor and continue to do your job."427 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Rachel P-N

University of Idaho Students for the Removal of Rob SpearStudents attending the University of Idaho, faculty, community members, and alumni demand action in response to an incident in 2013 which recently was publicized. Rob Spear, Director of Athletics, confessed to a clear violation of Title IX guidelines by not reporting a sexual assault charge to the Dean of Students in April of 2013. Rob Spear not only refused due process which allowed the assailant continued exposure to the student body, but misinformed the victim of her options, denying her access to institutions that could provide justice, safety, and vital counseling resources. We as a student body demand better from our leaders. This petition seeks the swift removal of Rob Spear as an employee of the university.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sarah Solomon

Oxy: Remove Cathie Young Selleck from the Graduation Speakers ListOccidental College's 2018 commencement theme is aimed at celebrating women's leadership, yet one of the speakers is a board member who refused to believe student survivors of sexual assault, bullied activists, and physically assaulted an Oxy grad. She does not adequately represent the celebration of women in leadership, therefore we do not want her to speak at graduation. http://www.theoccidentalweekly.com/news/2016/01/01/allies-trustees-clash-over-college-policy-2/2883645 https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/occidental-trustees-break-ins-investigation_n_5276222488 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Micaela and Gabriella

Add your name to oppose the Republicans' 20-week abortion ban before Monday's voteI am sick and tired of Republican politicians playing politics with our health care and going out of their way to target women’s constitutional right to choose in the process. We deserve better. I’ve spent my career in office fighting those who want to roll back decades’ worth of progress on women’s health and reproductive freedom. Together we fought to require employers to provide employees with no-cost coverage for contraception and 55 million American women benefitted. Together we advanced legislation in my state of California to ensure that so-called crisis pregnancy centers provide women with accurate information about the full range of reproductive services available to them. Together we defeated every attempt by Republicans to defund Planned Parenthood since Trump’s election, and we’re never going to stop fighting to make sure those doors stay open and women get the care they need. And next week, we’re going to defeat this 20-week abortion ban if enough of us make our voices heard right now: Sign my petition today if you agree that the Republicans 20-week abortion ban is immoral and must be defeated in the Senate next week.105 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Senator Kamala Harris

Sign the petition: the Equal Rights AmendmentThe ERA is the Equal Rights Amendment The United States Constitution does not guarantee equal rights for all citizens regardless of sex. The reality is that women are still not equal under the law. Women are not protected. While legislation has been passed throughout the years, none of these allowances are in fact secure. One shift in public opinion combined with a change in the political majority can, and has, led to legislation that chips away at long fought and hard earned privileges. The ratification of the ERA would at long last end the legal distinctions between men and women in the United States of America. The ERA was introduced to every single session of Congress from 1923 until it finally passed the U.S. House and Senate, in its current form on March 22, 1972. It then came barreling out of Congress and headed to the states for ratification. Over the course of that following year, 30 of the required 38 states successfully ratified the amendment. Only 60% of states agreed that women should be afforded equal constitutional protection. Upon reaching its 7-year deadline in 1979, without achieving ratification, the deadline was extended by Congress until 1982. despite the extension, the 38 state requirement, unfortunately, remained unmet. S.J.Res.5 removes the deadline and paves the way for the ERA to become the 28th amendment to the United States Constitution. We only need 2 more states to ratify the ERA. The time is NOW.1,429 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Storm Onole

STOP events at the USA Gymnastics NTTC- "Ranch" ImmediatelyWith the sexual molestation crisis that has occurred in our sport, it is reprehensible that we are requiring our female athletes to continue to train in a facility that was used by a child predator to commit horrible crimes for 20 years. USA Gymnastics SHOULD NOT REQUIRE GYMNASTS TO RETURN TO THE SITE WHERE THEY WERE ABUSED. Let's move our USA Gymnastics National Team Training center to a place that is in good standing with the SafeSport guidelines of our governing body. This action should take place immediately.2,618 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Erica Meitz
