I am starting this petition because I am disgusted that there is even a thing called lunch shaming and that it has gone on for so long! This practice must not be allowed to continue in Pawtucket schools.

By terminating FBI Director Comey in the midst of his investigation of allegations of treasonous collusion between Trump campaign officials and Russian officials, Trump has abused the power of his office and brought shame and disrepute upon this republic.

Last night, Donald Trump fired FBI Director James Comey, who was leading a criminal investigation into Trump’s possible collusion with Russia to sway the November election. Credible media reports of potential obstruction of justice by the Trump Administration show a clearer pattern of now three U.S. law enforcement officials being fired while investigating this Trump-Russia connection. It is fitting with this appearance of impropriety that an unbiased, non-partisan commission be empowered to complete this investigation and give the American people much needed answers for unresolved questions about the impartiality of our democratic election process.

Trump's credibility is on the line and trust for our president is now eroding. He told the public that he supported James Comey, the FBI Director, but then without warning, fired him. How can we trust that our President is a man of his word when it changes on a daily basis? If someone close to Trump appoints an investigator, we may never get to the truth and that's why we need an independent investigation to begin now!

Trump is implementing new extreme vetting procedures for all visa applications. To get a U.S. visa, applicants will now have to provide all of their social media account information used in the last five years. If you don't, your visa application will be denied. By requiring social media handles, the US government won't only look at your views and tirades on social media, they'll be able to identify and track anyone you've ever associated with. It's a recipe for building a global map of foreigners' online relationships with no checks on how that data is used or mined by other government agencies. The new requirements note that they'll only be used in certain cases that are pre-identified with potential ties to terrorism, but it doesn’t actually define what that means. In reality, an applicant who simply has an Arabic name or comes from a Muslim country could easily be targeted for their race, religion or geographic origin. And while the government says this won't happen, it's pretty hard to take the Trump administration at its word when it’s been so eager to pass its Muslim ban. But we have the chance to stop this. The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is seeking public comments on Trump's extreme vetting plan before approving it. Make your voice heard. Tell the OMB: Say 'NO' to Trump's extreme vetting!

I love my country and worry about what I see happening.

Yes, as a woman I am personally affected. Also I have preexisting conditions not related to the investigation, however tied into this mess of a so called government. We the people are not going to allow the degradation of our country countinue. Do your job!
