There is increasing evidence that Trump and his appointees have secret dealings with Russia that are not in the interest of American democracy. Jeff Sessions recused himself from investigations into the Trump administrations ties to Russia, but that is not enough. Attorney General Sessions must resign and a special prosecutor must be appointed to investigate Trump and his colleagues' alleged involvement with Russians and other questionable activities related to financial and campaign ethics.

The people of the United States have a right to be protected under an honest, fair and transparent government. This is not what we have under the Trump administration!

It's time that the Senate stand up and hold the Trump administration accountable for their deceitful ties to Russia during the campaign and ask for a bipartisan independent investigation into said ties.

With the knowledge that Senator Sessions lied under oath, Oklahomans & the American people demand that he resign. Recusal is not enough. We want a non-partisan, fair, full, and complete investigation. This must be independent of a special prosecutor appointed by the Justice Department & independent of Congress. As a member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence we want you to do your job to protect American Democracy, put country before party, and recuse yourself from this investigation. The Chair of your committee, Senator Richard Burr, can no longer be trusted and must step aside. You must keep your promise that you made on your tele-town hall last week: That you will do everything in your power to get to the bottom of this. It is within your power to call for an independent investigation. Do your job, Senator Lankford.

The Attorney General of United States willfully misled the Senate and the American people when he denied any knowledge of any members, including himself, speaking with any Russain patriots during the Donad Trump campaign for President 2016. I don't care about the excuse. He wilfully lied, and it's apparent he has a reason for his lying which is no way to proceed running the Justice Department. There is too much at stake, and breaching the ban on Russia shows a clear lack of following the Constitution of the United States.

The Washington Post just revealed that U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions lied under oath at his confirmation hearing about his contacts with Russian officials during the presidential campaign. It is time the American people see the checks and balance in action, and so demand an honest investigation into the Russian Connection. Let's speak out and call on our representatives to hear our voice!

Perjury is a prosecutable offense. Sessions should resign and a Special Prosecutor should be assigned to investigate the Russian dealings of the Trump White House and Campaign staff. We have already seen the resignation of Trumps National Security Advisor over the same issue. The American people need to know how deep the collusion goes. Kremlin surrogates have no place within the power structure of our government.

We, the American people deserve to have officials representing us who tell the truth and when they don't, as is the case with Jeff Sessions, they need to resign. We also deserve a full investigation into Trump and his campaign, and cabinet appointees related to ties to Russia. This is a nonpartisan concern...it is a concern for all Americans and the health of our democracy.

Dishonesty in government officials can not be tolerated at any level. In an US Attorney General it is especially egregious, action is required.

The Russian connection is our last election is a huge conflict for the current administration. We need an independent investigation to insure that our democracy survives.

Sessions lied about his contacts with the Russian government during the Trump campaign. We need his resignation and an independent Special Prosecutor appointed immediately to investigate Sessions and the Trump Administration's connections with Russia.

Attorney General Jeff sessions must resign - it is a matter of national security.
