On April 4, Champaign County voters will vote in referenda to decide whether to save our Champaign County Nursing Home. On March 22, Champaign County Democrats will vote on whether to endorse the referenda campaign to save our county nursing home. When the Vermillion County nursing home was privatized, the new management dramatically cut the staff, contradicting promises they had made to county officials. [1] Three years later, the nursing home was being cited by the state for life-threatening abuses. [2] Over the years, the Champaign County Nursing Home has tended to thousands of residents. Mr. Walberg (Michigan Congressional District 7) avoided all public events during the recent recess, and constituents were forced to hold "empty chair" events. We have a lot to say that Mr. Walberg should hear. Calls and emails are answered with unrelated form letters, and he needs to hear our concerns in person to be forced to directly address them.

Steve Bannon, a self-avowed Leninist (“I’m a Leninist. Lenin wanted to destroy the state, and that’s my goal too. I want to bring everything crashing down, and destroy all of today’s establishment.” ) has been given the highest power of an elected official within our Government under the President as Chief Strategist. His attacks on the press, calling them "The Opposition Party", is part of an obvious attempt to divide the people of the U.S. His speech at CPAC has outlined their Nationalist agenda. Anyone who is trying to dismantle our democracy is an ENEMY OF THE STATE!! We must remove Steve Bannon from any position of power!

Because America doesn't need to be the next Trump bankruptcy. We have better things to do with our hard-earned money. This is serious coin that could be going toward infrastructure, the environment, the poor, health care, and science R&D.

No democracy can exist without an informed electorate. Without a truly free and independent press, and without thorough investigative journalism, there can be no informed electorate and therefore no democracy. Freedom of speech and of the press is key to our own survival as a democracy and therefore we must do ALL we can to maintain our free press.

Health care is a human right, not a privilege!

The Democratic Party is at a crossroads. For too long, it's allowed races like this to slide by, losing crucial contests that have allowed the GOP to entrench its power. We must see that the Democratic Party will be the party to stop the Trump agenda. That starts with backing Mr. Ossoff.

Sentencing (probation) was set for April 12, 2017 at 8:45 a.m but Judge Burgess who will be hearing this case moved it to April 13,2017 at 2:30 p.m sounds fishy to me, but I will be attending both dates! I don't trust this system for one second.

Donald Trump has made it so transgender students and people may not use the bathroom that they feel comfortable in but they have to use there birth sex bathroom. I feel as though as a transgender student myself this is highly hurtful because coming out as transgender is hard enough but having a whole group of people in the White House against you is far too much. I came out a couple months ago because I thought America was getting better and that I could feel more comfortable because everything is going to change and I'm going to be comfortable in my own skin. But boy was I wrong! So I was 6 years old when I started feeling uncomfortable with my body something just wasn't right. As a six-year-old you don't particularly know what's wrong but you know something's wrong. So I went quiet for nine more years. 9 years I was this dark shadow hiding behind a mask so they won't see me. I don't want to deal with that anymore. I am out as a transgender boy and there's so many others just like myself. Actors singers writers journalists coffee shop workers they're all just trying to live peacefully and I think people should understand that. So please join in to help us to get our bathroom back. Some people may say it's just the bathroom but the bathroom symbolizes our rights. Once you take our bathroom what else will you take from referring to us as our preferred pronouns and names. I hope this petition is known to people and people join the fight with us because we need it. I thank everyone who signs my position. Thank you.

It will destroy public education and negatively effect our children.

Pennsylvania, my home state, is considered ground zero for gerrymandering of states across the country. It would be fitting to start the campaign to help diminish its negative impact on what should be a fair and equal election process for all voting citizens across the country.

As a Veteran, I realize how much courage it must take to give candid, honest tactical, and ethical advice to a commander, and more so in the commander in chief. You are in a position that affects not only national security, but also morale of many Americans, and many faiths. Thank you for speaking against the term "radical Islamic terrorism."
