• Protect the Independence of Gov't Fact-Finding Agencies
It is important that we combat fake news with facts and that our government generates policy based on fact rather than pressure from lobbyists with domestic or foreign interests.

  • Stop Blaming Russia for U.S. Election Results
The hysteria over supposed Russian hacking costing Hillary the election is pathetic, and blaming Russia takes attention from the real issue, THAT the DNC, the DEMOCRATIC ESTABLISHMENT and the MEDIA rigged the DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY, to ensure that their predetermined candidate would win the nomination. The content of the leaked emails only verified the obvious rigging. This rigging needs to be acknowledged and censured by the Democratic establishment, or it will continue. Suppose that Russia is responsible for the hacking; it could simply be emulating the actions of the self declared exceptional world leader. The U.S. has routinely manipulated elections, orchestrated coups and overthrown governments. The U.S. government and its media need to stop blaming and demonizing Russia, and the U.S. needs to see its actions as other countries see them, if it wants to lead effectively towards a more peaceful, sustainable world background: https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2016/12/adam-schiff-russia-election-hack/511571/#article-comments http://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/press-releases?ID=A04D321E-5F86-4FD6-AD8E-7F533E1C2845 http://rootsaction.org/news-a-views/1412-urgent-to-progressives-stop-fueling-the-anti-russia-frenzy http://www.unz.com/emargolis/moscow-attacks/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/...

  • Urgent: No Warrant, Help Pat Smalls Get Back Her Stolen NJ Co-op & Stolen Belongings
NO WARRANT AND NO STATE COURT JUDGMENT. The Fifth Amendment (V) of U. S. Constitution says no one shall be "deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law. “ All judges, lawyers, and law enforcement take an Oath to Uphold the U.S. Constitution. For over 4 years, Ms. Smalls, a CPA, and an Entrepreneur has been homeless with her co-op mortgage and fighting 24/7 to get back her home. Judges covering up for other judges have falsely claimed that Ms. Smalls was legally evicted (if legal, where is the paperwork, Warrant, judgment, notices, etc.?), labeled her complaint as frivolous, and dismissed her complaint without any due process or proof to support their claim in violation of her 4th, 5th, 7th and 14th Amendments of U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. For additional proof of case and pictures of her stolen Co-op, www.stealingyourhome.com PLEASE FOLLOW THIS FEDERAL CASE USDNJ Case #16-847 Patricia Smalls vs. Riviera Towers Corp., et al., For her current case, the Judge Bumb in DKT 2 has falsely claimed that Ms. Smalls was legally evicted without providing any evidence to support her claim, such as a Warrant. Also, Eviction is for Renters. Ms. Smalls owns her Co-op/home, her Co-op mortgage would have to be foreclosed on which takes 3 years and wanted. PLEASE CONTACT Chief Judge Simandle at (856) 757-5167: Tell him to remove Judge Bumb. Ms. Smalls has a constitutional right to a fair jury trial and unbiased judge. In 1994, the U.S. Supreme Court held that "Disqualification is required if an objective observer would entertain reasonable questions about the judge's impartiality. If a judge's attitude or state of mind leads a detached observer to conclude that a fair and impartial hearing is unlikely, the judge must be disqualified." [Emphasis added]. Liteky v. U.S., 114 S.Ct. 1147, 1162 (1994). Whether you are a Homeowner or Renter, a Warrant is required to enter your home in accordance with 4th Amendment of U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. These false claims have robbed Ms. Smalls of her rights to due process, $250k stolen co-op/home, over $200k stolen belongings, over $100k in co-op equity, damages, time, a fair jury trial and justice in which PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION to require the Court either provide proof that Ms. Smalls was legally evicted or give back her stolen co-op with belongings. • GOP Bans 1st Amendment on Congress
The GOP passed a bill to ban Democrats from filming or photographing the debates in the House Chamber. The proposed legislation would refer members of the House to the Ethics Committee and would levy fines against those who would record Congressional business. Fox News has obtained a document spelling out the proposed penalties. House Republicans are proposing sanctioning members with a $500 fine for the first offense and $2,500 for additional offenses. “Any subsequent offense will be assessed at the higher amount, regardless of whether it is connected to any other offense by time or proximity,” part of the proposal reads. In addition, lawmakers cannot block the well of the House as Democrats did with their sit-in in June.

  • Stop another tax cut for profitable large corporations
The North Carolina General Assembly put in place automatic rate cuts for profitable and powerful corporations as of January 1st that will result in $500 million less in annual revenue despite what is needed for communities, classrooms and families to thrive. Since 2013, the tax rate paid by profitable corporations has dropped from 6.9 percent to 4 percent and as of January 1st will drop to 3 percent. This is well below the 5.49 rate paid by North Carolina taxpayers on their taxable income. Given the rate is already among the lowest in the nation and the region and the evidence that shows such rate cuts do not generate boosts to the economy as promised, North Carolina policymakers should not again push an agenda that helps the powerful. Before the end of the year, it is critical to make clear that North Carolina's elected leaders should choose people and communities over profitable corporations. The tax rate on corporate profits should remain at 4 percent.

  • Obama, Congress: Support the UNGA Treaty to Ban Nuclear Weapons
On December 23, the UN General Assembly approved a resolution to launch negotiations in 2017 on a treaty banning nuclear weapons. [1] Unfortunately, the Obama Administration opposed the resolution. [2] Worse, the Obama Administration called on other countries to vote against the resolution and to boycott the treaty negotiations. [3] The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) is urging all countries to take part in the treaty negotiations. [4] Urge President Obama and Members of Congress to support the negotiations on a treaty to ban nuclear weapons by signing our petition. • Mormon Tabernacle Choir: Back-Out of Trump's Inauguration
As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I wish to encourage the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's President and Administrative Director to uphold the Church's non-partisan stance during this heated election year. Regardless of past participation in Presidential Inaugurations, the division in our country over this election will only be magnified among our members and neighbors by the Choir's participation in the Inaugural event.

  • Congress Disqualify Electors on Jan 6
On January 6th when the Joint Session of the House and Senate certify the election- they must support objections to Electoral College ballots from Wisconsin, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Wisconsin violated a court order on voter ID restrictions and roughly 300,000 voters were denied ballots in a state that Mr. Trump won by 27,000 votes. Disqualify that state's Elector Ballots !! North Carolina's Republican legislature bragged on voter suppression cutting early voting in minority districts by 85 %. Disqualify that state's Elector Ballots !! Most ballots in PA are cast with unverifiable touch screen tallying that experts agree is completely untrustworthy and prone to interference. Disqualify that state's Elector Ballots !! And since Mr Trump will no longer have the 270 majority ballots, rendering him ineligible for the Presidency - instead select a moderate, sane Republican for president and a Democrat for Vice President having the result of ridding Congress of partisan gridlock. • Defend #Senegal & #NewZealand UN vote against settlements
On December 23, the UN Security Council adopted a historic resolution against settlement colonies in the Palestinian West Bank. The vote was 14-0, with the US abstaining. US Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power said following the vote: "Today the Security Council reaffirmed its established consensus that the settlements have no legal validity." [1] Bibi Netanyahu retaliated for the vote by recalling ambassadors from New Zealand and Senegal, and by ending all aid programs for Senegal.
