• Gov Inslee: Stop killing wolves!
Already, 6 wolves out of the pack have been killed. With only 90 wolves comprising the entire Washington state wolf population, it is wrong and unfair to punish these wolves for killing livestock that has been dumped on public lands with indefensible terrain.

  • Stop Wood County schools from shortening the kids summer
I am starting this petition in order to prevent Wood County schools from taking the kids summer vacation away from them. They have already cut a month off their summer break and I feel the kids need to be able to enjoy their time off in order to be ready to start school and be ready to learn at the beginning of the next school year. I have been affected because I have 3 children who can't understand why they have to go back to school so early when they have relatives and friends that live in other school systems who don't have to start back until the end of August or after Labor Day.

  • @SenatorCollins & @SenAngusKing: Oppose the Saudi arms deal!
On August 8, the Obama administration notified Congress [1] of intent to sell $1.15 billion of weapons to Saudi Arabia, including tanks that would replace tanks destroyed in Saudi Arabia's war against Houthi rebels in Yemen. We urge Senator Susan Collins and Senator Angus King to oppose this deal and to co-sponsor a resolution of disapproval against it. Past Congressional concerns about Saudi Arabia's war in Yemen have not been addressed. In October, Members of Congress wrote to the Administration [2] urging greater efforts to avoid civilian casualties in Yemen and achieve a diplomatic solution to the conflict. In June, 204 Members of the House, including 40 Republicans and all but 16 Democrats, voted to block the transfer of cluster bombs to Saudi Arabia after reports of their use in civilian areas in Yemen. [3] Yet, since the proposed arms deal was announced, a Saudi airstrike on a school in Yemen killed 10 children [4] – some as young as 6-years-old – and a Saudi airstrike on an MSF hospital in Yemen killed 11 people. [5] On August 30, 64 Members of the House signed a letter urging that the Saudi arms deal be delayed so that Congress can fully consider it. [6] Urge Senator Collins and Senator King to cosponsor legislation to oppose the Saudi arms deal by signing our petition. • Eliminate wv motor vehicle inspection
This petition is to eliminate WV motor vehicle inspection. Every year I personally, and many other West Virginians, struggle to get a WV motor vehicle inspection to make our vehicle legal. It's not because our cars are junk or a major hazard to be on the road, it's over petty things such as window tint or because the inspection stations do not want to take time out of their busy day to do a vehicle inspection in which they make no money. This leads to the shops charging us for unnecessary repairs so that they can make some money. Too many West Virginians cannot afford to keep their older vehicles on the road when new car standards are required by inspections or inspection stations are just trying to make a little money.

  • Justice For Caleb
Mr. Sam Olens Attorney General State of Georgia Chief Turner Atlanta Police Department Mr Paul Howard Fulton County District Attorney Dear Parties Stated Above: We would respectfully like to ask you to have all appropriate divisions investigate the Fulton County Animal Service's handling of the abuse and ultimate death of Puppy Caleb. Puppy Caleb was found on August 10, 2016 at 1449 Murray Street, Atlanta GA – he was beaten, raped, starved, had cigarette burns all over his body, broken jaw and was thrown over a high fence at this location which resulted in a fractured skull – he was approximately 4 months old. This was on the news – with a video of him at the animal hospital crying in pain. He ultimately died – his injuries too much for his little body to overcome. Now the Fulton County Animal Services released a statement saying there was no evidence of him being abused. How could that possibly be? The horror that this poor puppy endured in his short life deserves more than sweeping the facts under the rug to avoid having to deal with the people that are seeking Justice for Caleb. We want this monster brought to justice – it is a proven fact that violence of serial killer begins with the abuse of animals – it could be a child or elderly person next. Please consider having your office look into this most serious matter. Please watch informative video provided here: http://meredithaz.worldnow.com/story/32762448/justice-for-caleb-fulton-county-abuse-prompts-nationwide-outpouring We demand justice! http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/justice4calebthetorturedpuppy This petition above was started when we did not have all current email addresses . As you can see, there are an additional 12,000 plus signatures demanding justice for precious Caleb. Please we beg you for justice for the puppy who is now our "nation's" puppy!
