I care about this country and see the Senate's blocking of Obama's Supreme Court Nominee to be unprecedented and unconstitutional. I think it's imperative that we make our voices on this issue heard, and quickly, while there's still time to take action.

Millions of Americans stand to lose access to crucial healthcare services if Obamacare is repealed. No longer will employers have to give healthcare, and pre-existing conditions can be considered in the assessment of healthcare. As a country, we cannot afford to step back into the past by repealing Obamacare.

Trump does not have a mandate. A majority of Americans voted for Hillary. Republican senators have refused to allow Obama, who does have a mandate, to have his nomination for Supreme Court Justice voted on. The case for Democrats against a Trump nomination is much more clear.

The courts are sentencing defendants to gang/gun enhancements per victim involved and not per incident. Stacking these enhancements makes the sentencing unrealistic. To sentence 100+ years in prison serves no real purpose since the defendant has nothing to lose while incarcerated, good behavior or bad behavior. With 100+ years there's no possibility of rehabilitation because the defendant knows there is no release from the prison system with that type of sentence.

Donald Trump has not been honest with the American people about his tax returns. Without that knowledge, there is no way for Americans to know if he has committed crimes which would keep him from assuming the office of the President.

The Electoral College is an antiquated institution which was originally meant to disenfranchise the electorate at large. The President-Elect should be the person who received the most votes, period. This did not happen in 1876, 1888, 2000, and in 2016.
