• Keep Wisconsin's Water Public! No To AB 554/SB 432
What happened in Flint is a tragedy and can be avoided if the citizens are educated to the insidiously injurious actions of their elected officials. Our water rests in our State and our State is not for sale.

  • Vote NO on SB 318
The Florida House has passed HB 191, which will make it illegal for our local governments to ban fracking in their area. But its not too late, the Florida Senate still needs to vote and their bill is still in committee. We need to come together and let them know, our local communities should be making these decisions, and the State Legislature has no right taking that away from us. Please pass this along to as many people you know. We dont have much time.

  • Let's Actually Make America Great Again! Forgive All Student Debt & Make Public Colleges FREE
No 22-year-old should have to enter the real world already in a virtual debtors' prison. 43 MILLION AMERICANS are $1.3 TRILLION in debt because of student loans, and that amount increases by $3,000 every second. This is cruel and no other democracy pays for college like we do. Let's ACTUALLY make America great again!

  • TPP: No To Post-Election "Etch-a-Sketch"
In an interview from Davos with Bloomberg TV on January 20, Chamber of Commerce President Tom Donohue, a top lobbyist for the pro-corporate-power Trans-Pacific Partnership [TPP] agreement, assured viewers that if Hillary Clinton wins the Presidential election, she will support the TPP, even though she opposes it now. [1] Inside U.S. Trade reported: "The Chamber president said he expected Hillary Clinton would ultimately support the TPP if she becomes the Democratic nominee for president and is elected. He argued that she has publicly opposed the deal chiefly because her main challenger, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), has also done so. 'If she were to get nominated, if she were to be elected, I have a hunch that what runs in the family is you get a little practical if you ever get the job,' he said." [2] Donohue also said TPP will not be voted on prior to the election because Senate Republicans do not want to do anything that could jeopardize Republican Senators in close races. But he said he believed there was a 75 percent chance that TPP would get done in the lame-duck session after the election. [3] Voters have the right to know now what Democratic and Republican politicians will do on the TPP after the election, yes or no. Urge Members of Congress to take a stand now and pledge to stick to that stand after the election by signing our petition. References: 1. "Will the Trans-Pacific Partnership Deal Survive?" • KFC: Help Save Antibiotics!
According to the CDC, more than 2 million Americans get sick from antibiotic-resistant infections each year, and 23,000 people die. Yet, more than 70 percent of antibiotics sold in the United States go to livestock and poultry operations, which routinely mix huge quantities of antibiotics into the feed of animals that aren’t sick. This practice increases the likelihood that all kinds of bacteria will develop resistance to antibiotics, meaning our life-saving medicines won't work. As the national Colonel of fried chicken, KFC has tremendous power to change the chicken market and put an end to this dangerous practice... but they won't do it unless they know that consumers demand it. • JP Morgan Chase has made Susie Homeless and Heartbroken!
Susie Johnson is my mother and my hero. I have been fighting this fight for over 14 years to help my mother retain her home all while seeing the devastating affects this fight has had on her. My mom has lost her will to live and has been made homeless from this ordeal. She has suffered immeasurably and cannot even afford to pay her own rent because the banks egregious mistake has caused her to pay an exorbitant storage bill and if she neglects to pay this, she will lose everything else that she owns in this world. My mom has lost her will to live. She says that she was treated like nothing therefore she must be nothing and no matter how much I try to tell her otherwise, the facts are that JP Morgan Chase has treated her like she is nothing, how else should she feel?

  • Alabama universities shouldn't be mandated to allow guns on campus
My wife teaches at the University of Montevallo in Alabama. We both believe that this bill will make her workplace more dangerous, not safer. The presence of guns in classrooms can also create a threatening atmosphere that stifles the free exchange of ideas and opinions critical to learning and may intimidate students and professors alike.
