Minnesota’s Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party – the Minnesota arm of the national Democratic Party – has recently announced its intention to invite New York Senator Chuck Schumer to be the keynote speaker at the 10th Annual DFL Founders Day Dinner. [1] This announcement by the Minnesota DFL could not come at a worse time for supporters of the nuclear agreement with Iran. Schumer is the most prominent Congressional Democrat opposing the deal. [2] Only one other Senate Democrat has come out against the deal – indicted New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez. If just four Senate Democrats follow Schumer’s example, Senate Republicans will likely have the votes they need to send a rejection of the Iran accord to President Obama, forcing the President to use a politically embarrassing veto and undermining the credibility of any future President to negotiate war-preventing diplomatic accords in the future. By inviting Schumer to keynote their dinner, Minnesota Democrats are signaling that Schumer’s actions to undercut diplomacy are ok with them, that undermining the Democratic President when he negotiates an international accord to prevent war is ok with them. This isn’t just bad for the Iran deal; it’s bad for future efforts to prevent war by using diplomacy. Urge Minnesota’s Democratic leaders in Congress to press the DFL leadership to re-consider their invitation to Schumer by signing our petition. The HICKMAN Family Farm came to Tonopah AZ in 2014 with a third party land purchase. They did not tell the seller what the property would be used for. They proposed twelve million chickens for eggs. This unincorporated town of Tonopah, AZ has to breathe pathogens, chicken dander, and dust kicked up by their operations. We are five thousand people; we all vote. We have NO representation because our county supervisor is the President of the company. That is a CLEAR conflict of interest. We have gone to other members of Senate and Congress. We have not heard back. We went to Federal Agencies for Environmental concerns. They tell us they are doing their best to make sure Hickman's is compliant with regulations. Then why are we being terrorized in our own homes and property? We can't go outside and have a barbecue this Labor day, because no one wants to deal with the flies or the stench. Hickman's is one half mile from the epicenter of our town. Why should they be able to come settle here and ruin our quality of life and the planning and development we had already planned before the Hickmans plopped down here? We have a hot spring here that has been here for thirty years. People come from all over the world to heal in its waters. Please help us get our President to help our little community. Thank you.

I've sent ABC Family channel a few emails letting them know that their programming contains a hate filled show. All I ever receive back is standard response. The 700 Club is not appropriate programming for a family oriented channel.

January 1, 2016 The Georgia gun lobby and many members of the General Assembly are determined to force Georgia's colleges and universities to allow loaded, concealed handguns on all college and university campuses, both public and private, in our state. In spite of overwhelming opposition from students, faculty, campus law enforcement, parents, and against the recommendations of policy experts, they continue to aggressively push bills like HB 544 year after year. We believe Georgia’s college and university administrators and campus security experts are best equipped to evaluate and make policy decisions that effect their campus communities, not opportunistically motivated lawmakers. Over the last several years, the Campaign to Keep Guns Off Campus and our coalition partners have vigorously fought back against legislation that would force concealed handguns on campus and we need your help this year, more than ever, to stop HB 544. Americans have the right to feel safe at school, at work, at the movies, at church! We need to do better for this country and make it safe for everyone.

Earlier this month, Trump praised the two men who brutally beat up and urinated on a homeless Latino man. The men told police that, "Donald Trump was right, all these illegals need to be deported." Recently, Trump had Jorge Ramos, a prominent Latino journalist, forcefully removed from a press conference for asking questions about his immigration policy that Trump didn't like. And, during the first televised Republican presidential debate, Trump admitted, before a national television audience, that he has bribed public officials from both major political parties. There have been no repercussions or criminal investigations, and this is unacceptable. Trump's hateful and possibly criminal actions are destructive to American democracy and the rule of law, and have led to acts of violence. Billionaires and presidential candidates should not be able to operate above the law. Urge US Attorney General Loretta Lynch and State Attorneys General to hold Trump accountable, conduct a full criminal investigation of Trump's actions and the actions of his campaign and representatives.

I relocated to the state of Arizona on October 29, 2013. My child was to accompany me. My dad and stepmom suggested that I leave alone to get a head start and send for my child. I agreed with their suggestion believing they were acting in good faith. I returned to the state of Michigan in June of 2014 to retrieve my child. The guardians were informed of my return and preceded to abduct my child and keep her away from me with a forged "Placement Plan". It was never signed by me; I never agreed to the terms of the Placement Plan.

This petition is to make our state legislature and governor aware that lower and middle class Californians need a safe guard of protection. This is to protect low income and middle class income Californians, from unforeseeable risky fiscal events due to the lack of "controlled and regulated" financial sectors, in both banking and housing markets. This petition which I hope with the best intentions becomes law, is a safe guard to protect both the lower and middle class, and to protect California's economy if another housing bubble collapse was to occur. This petition is to generate a realized market condition, rather than a false market condition which involves risk, and lessens quality of life.

The constituents of Vine City Community no longer want the VCCA to represent the interest of our neighborhood. Due to the lack of transparency in the management of funds, the unwillingness to partner with the community in decision making, and their refusal to comply with the open records laws. VCCA has eroded the community's trust to a point of no return.
