My good friend has a child at Clear Creek with severe nut allergies. So severe that he cannot even come into contact with traces of any kind of nut. My daughter is also affected with allergies to nuts and some trees. Unfortunately, we are seeing more and more allergies in our children. We need to make sure that we are prepared if one of them goes into Anaphylaxis shock. In these critical moments our school nurse may not be available. This could be the difference between that child's life and death. Just imagine if your child couldn't breathe. I watched it happen on a small scale with my child and it was one of the scariest moments of my life. Help us make EpiPens accessible all over school and get qualified personnel training to administer them. The cost is low and training can be done online within an hour. Please help us.

The Arctic is an important place, same as everywhere else in our world. Regardless of what immature potentials industrial humans may see, it is important that we refrain from abusing it's wonders. The Arctic is home to creatures and ecosystems which deserve respect. Just because we disrespect and exploit the rest of our world does not make it a valid way to continue. Comcast is one of the few companies that is essentially allowed to have a regional monopoly. They continue spiking their price for Internet while throttling speeds and charging ridiculous amounts for cable television services, providing absolutely horrific and downright insulting customer service. The only reason they do this is because they CAN! There is no competition. There is no "good guy." Google can only do so much with Fiber. Let's stand up and have our voices heard. We as a populace do not need to put up with this. Let's push back. Let's show them that a corporation can't push us around. Let's leverage our local governments and make a push to make this happen. It started in Chattanooga; let's continue it in the Denver/Boulder metropolitan areas and continue growing the movement!

For millennia, it has remained untouched by oil-drilling or industrial fishing. We want to keep it this way. We see the big picture - we do not want short term interests ruining something so special and valuable.

I am tired of seeing mother earth violated .She must be protected at all costs

when you think of the arctic you think of ice, snow, and maybe polar bears. but theres so much more to cold weather and a few polar bears here and there. the arctic has many species of whale, penguins, fish, seals, bears, etc. there are glaciers and some mountain ranges. so far it has been untouched by oil drillings and a majority of the community want to keep it that way!! please sign on to the arctic declaration and keep a global sanctuary. lets work together to stop Shell from drilling in the arctic. its time we, as a human race, think of other things besides ourselves. ((if you were a polar bear seeing giant machines digging and destroying what you call home you would be pretty terrified too))
