• Maintain Website Neutrality
An open internet is CRITICAL to the financial well-being of myself and my young son!! I run two small businesses and most of my clients have found me through the internet. I do not have the funding to spend on putting myself in a "fast track" system!

  • Stop the internet from becoming "Pay-to-Play".
I made this petition because I have websites that I commonly go to that allow me to show what I do. These include a few Wikis and DeviantArt. However, there are many more. Besides, I have little money; it's hard enough to pay for shit already, but what Comcast and Verizon plan to do gives me regrettable ideas. All I ask is that many stand beside me and millions of others to save the internet; we're all in this together.

  • Municipal composting so yard waste is recycled
As an organic grower, I appreciate the value of compost! And nobody likes the enormous "trash mountains" we have in Florida.

  • Net Neutrality
My daughter is my story. Currently she works full time, and without access to the internet this would not have been possible. I believe without everyone having total access to the internet, it will change individual ability to access jobs! The internet creates and open doors to jobs; DON'T TAKE THAT AWAY!

  • Net Neutrality: Open Access to the Fast Lane
I am a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer and work full-time as a Legal Assistant at a major Boise, Idaho law firm. I use the Internet extensively at work and at home to access personal bank and credit card accounts, bill payment, payroll information. Net neutrality should remain the standard.

In my personal life, I would like to research, check my personal mails, social sites, and other various sites without being slowed down due to lack of throwing away extra money that I don't have to satisfied rich people's greed. In my professional life, I would like to research, check my professional mails, professional based social sites, and other business based sites without being slowed down due to lack of throwing away extra business money for someone else's greed.

  • Save Net Neutrality
As an educator I started with the internet back in the early 1990's. It was slow and painful to use. Now it is so wonderful to have any and all sorts of information at my finger tips to use for teaching and personal use. If I want to present the pro's and con's of an issue, I can find that information for my students much easier than when the then internet was dial-up slow.

  • Keep the internet equal for all!
I am the Public Information Officer for our Volunteer Fire Department, and we are very pro-active using social media not only to inform the public of everyday events but also when we know if serious weather is imminent to our area, routes to avoid during emergencies and Amber Alerts. This is done using my own personal Internet provider. This could be detrimental and could possibly cost lives!

  • Maintain Net neutrality and save the Internet
I've used the Internet for over 20 years and the World Wide Web ever since its inception. It's been an integral part of my freelance work and research ever since. I couldn't live without it. I depend on unfettered access to research sources and online archives on a daily basis and most of these are hosted or supported by nonprofit organizations and various public and private institutions. Any disruption of my ability to access such information would certainly be harmful to my work. And frankly, it wouldn't benefit my non-work activities much either.
