Unused Land-East San JoseThis petition is about serving the people and the community, making the community a safe place for young and old. My family grandparents to be exact have been living in the community for 65 years plus and they have stories for you. Would like to see Caltrans sell the land to the City of San Jose and turn the Unused Land into a Community Park. Lets turn a negative into a positive and we shall see good and happy things throughout the community.176 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Devren Breaux

Help veterans be successfulPetition to Start a Non-Profit Business Incubator. To help support Veterans and First Responders and others in need of additional administrative support to be successful in their entrepreneurial endeavors especially socially responsible non-profits that benefit communities. Mission: To assist individuals with ADHD, especially veterans and first responders with ADHD[1], to identify their respective conditions, assist them in obtaining treatment, and empower them to implement personalized plans for success. To help organizations minimize disruption from staff and client ADHD (both diagnosed and undiagnosed) Vision: We will be the most comprehensive program to assist all who suffer from ADHD, especially Veterans and first responders. We will work with them and their families, friends and employers to improve quality of life, productivity, and confidence. We provide individuals with a sense of dignity, restore confidence and help build a strong community as individuals begin and continue treatment to achieve their full potential. Issue: ADHD and undiagnosed ADHD have reached epidemic proportions for families and employers in the US2. The estimated economic impact was a negative $31.6 billion annually3. It is estimated that 62 percent of veterans4 and first responders suffer from ADHD, and according to NIH,5 go undiagnosed6. ADHD is easily treatable, but undiagnosed ADHD often leads to alcoholism, drug abuse, divorce and other destructive behavior7. Wolves BelongThe states that do allow wolf hunting (MN.,WI.,MT.,ID.,WY.,) have decimated the populations that once were there. It is out of HATE that these states allow the hunting of wolves. It is NOT based out of science.17 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sandra McGee

Senators Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein: Co-sponsor the Strengthening Social Security Act of 2013Millions of Americans depend on Social Security. We need all Democratic Senators co-sponsoring this bill by Senator Tom Harkin because there is no valid reason to cut the meager benefits and this bill provides commonsense ways to expand and strengthen the program ensuring it for future generations.222 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Jim Hard

Haverhill NH School Board: Time for Change, Remove John RutherfordA board member may not be removed from office except as provided in RSA 32:12 and RSA 42:1-a. 42:1-a Manner Of Dismissal: I. The manner of dismissing a town officer who violates the oath as set forth in RSA 42:1 shall be by petition to the superior court for the county in which the town is located. 42:1 Oath Required: Every town officer shall make and subscribe the oath or declaration as prescribed by part 2, article 84 of the constitution of New Hampshire and any such person who violates said oath after taking the same shall be forthwith dismissed from the office involved. Article 84, part 2: I, A.B. do solemnly and sincerely swear and affirm that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all duties incumbent on me as ................................................., according to the best of my abilities, agreeably to the rules and regulations of this constitution and laws of the state of New Hampshire. So help me God. In Article 84 part 2 of the NH State Constitution, the Oath of Civil Officers, states that they will "faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all duties" of their office. On multiple occasions, Mr. John Rutherford has not performed his duties impartially, nor to the best of his abilities, in the best interest of the school or community. The largest of these being: 1. Voting to remove legal counsel without proper council set to replace them, thereby leaving the school and community legally vulnerable. 2. Not giving proper notice to the SAU Board Members of how legal counsel responded on the correct way to calculate a weighted vote when this was received well in advance of the vote. 3. When faced with proper interpretation of the weighted vote by the SAU Attorney, Mr. John Rutherford said the burden was on the other boards to bring legal suit against the Haverhill Board, rather than accepting fault. Thereby being willing to place the district in a legal battle with our other SAU Boards. 4. Continued meetings outside of the scheduled School Board Meetings with other School Board members, thereby disenfranchising other Board Members and community members from hearing discussions, which is clearly against Board rules and a breach of ethical conduct. I, the undersigned, believe this clearly shows a series of events where Mr. John Rutherford has NOT faithfully and impartially discharged and perform all duties which go in the best interest and wishes of the community he was voted to represent and should be removed from office forthwith. Mini urban farms in city parksThe food desert in inner cities would be eliminated, recreaction for children and adults in urban areas could much enhanced by exposure to growing of fruits, vegetables and greens that are currently only seen as packaged food in grocery stores. The City Park and Recreation Department needs to change its focus from traditional lawn, play area maintainence, to stimulating the minds of young children, by exposing them to growing the food they eat. This would be a wonderful activity for those who would love to garden but have no access to land.24 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Monali Khandagle

Closing the Medicaid Expansion GapAs a physician in the state of Georgia, I have seen first hand the results of lack of health insurance. I have seen people with high blood pressure who develop heart failure and strokes because they cannot afford their blood pressure medications. I have seen people with diabetes who go on to develop kidney failure because of inadequate care. Many of these are the working poor - cooks, cashiers, cleaners, decent people who are working hard to make ends meet. They should not be left at the risk of unnecessary death, disability and financial ruin in the United States of America at this day and age despite the passage of the Affordable Care Act. The richest country in the world should not be the only developed country in which the poor do not have guaranteed access to healthcare, something that citizens of all other developed countries take for granted.219 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Obi Emerole

Change the Name of the Washington Pro Football TeamNative Americans have engaged in a variety of lawsuits and protests to change the name of the Washington professional football team. Native Americans are hurt by a name that is demeaning and offensive. We stand in solidarity with them and ask Dan Snyder, the owner, to change the name now!295 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Josh Silver
