  • Middle Class Mortgage Assistance Fairness
I am one of the people that have been harmed by this unfair practice. I have applied for modifications and have not had any positive results. I have seen people with no jobs receive help, banks received help, people in all financial situations got help which is great, but the middle class is getting left out. Home values in certain areas are almost back to their pre crisis prices, but home values in other areas are not going up. Principal reductions would level the playing field and keep people from walking away from mortgages as well as strengthen areas often left out behind.

  • USA Cycling: Move Cyclocross National Championships Back to December
The move of the USA Cycling cyclocross National Championships from December into January has made it difficult for many competitors to attend. By being held in the winter in the US, the options for a suitable host location are also limited. Travel during the winter months is also made more difficult by the potential adverse weather conditions. All of these factors combined with the date being right after the holidays makes the move of the race from December to January, counterproductive.

  • Tell Kansas lawmakers, "Vote NO" on Fast Track for Obama
When global corporations get everything they want, the rest of us lose. That's the rest of the globe, not just the 99% in America. The Obama Administration is currently negotiating, in secret, a massive so-called "free" trade agreement called the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). TPP leaks indicate that this agreement will greatly empower corporations by virtually eliminating consumer, health, safety, labor, privacy and environmental regulations. In essence, this will be a global corporate coup. In order to speed approval through congress, President Obama will be asking Congress to approve "Fast Track" legislation, giving him ability to sign before Congress sees the agreement. Tell your Kansas Congressional lawmakers, Senators and Representatives alike, to vote "NO" on "Fast Track" legislation.

  • Rescind all Obamacare laws immediately
We have seen nothing but absolute failures in this law. It makes no sense, costs too much money and does not solve any problems! Why was it ever even passed? Let's just realize it is a total failure and get rid of it immediately. We can revisit healthcare reform once Obamacare is gone!

  • Ban The Newly Released Video Game"The Slaying of Sandy Hook Elementary"
Ryan Jake Lambourn, a video game developer of Sydney Austraila has created an allegedly "pro gun control" video game that simulates the tragic and devastating events of the Sandy Hook Elementary shootings. Lambourn callously released the video game on the first anniversary of the tragedy. The game opens with the user obtaining a glock handgun and shooting their mother just as Adam Lanza did and proceeds to direct the user (virtual shooter) to storm from classroom to classroom with an AR-15 rifle shooting victims. The game displays a "Kill Ratio" along the way and climaxes with the user turning the gun on himself when the police arrive. There are no words for the existence of this repugnant video game or for the sheer irresponsibility and insensitivity of Ryan Lambourn for creating it. Lambourn claims that the video game is advocating for gun control but somehow the irony of that statement escapes him. This video game glorifies the killer of Sandy Hook a murderous person with an obsession with "first person shooter" video games such as the one that Lambourn has created in the name of Sandy Hook. Further,it makes light of a National Tragedy, blatantly minimizes the pain and suffering of the Sandy Hook families, and disrespects the memory of their slaughtered children and teachers. Ask Ryan Jake Lambourn of Googumproduce to self regulate and remove this wildly misguided and offensive video game from existence and publicly apologize to the families and victims of Sandy Hook Elementary. Ryan Lambourn may be contacted directly through his twitter account @googumproduce. His company website is googumproduce.com. Please be sure that he hears our collective voice.

  • Tell President Obama: Expose and stop insurance company sabotage
It’s time to expose and stop insurance companies that are sabotaging the Affordable Care Act. Some people have lost their substandard health insurance plans, because they are not in compliance with the new law. But some insurance companies are using the confusion about Obamacare to trick people into buying new (more expensive) policies without telling customers about alternative plans and subsidies available on the new exchanges. And some are out and out lying about the law, selling new junk policies without explaining that people buying them will also have to buy real policies. Rather than discrediting Obamacare, the actions of these companies prove why we needed health care reform in the first place. Insurance companies put profit over patients, and cannot be trusted to do the right thing for their customers. It's time to put a stop to this. Tell President Obama: Expose and stop insurance company sabotage.

  • Fix Battlefield 4 or compensate us for a broken game
DICE/EA promised its player base and fan base the "Next-Gen" in gaming. What we received is an unfinished product that has frozen multiple times on every platform. PC, PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360. Players on all platforms have had server crashes, game data erased, including the singleplayer campaign as well as their multiplayer progress. For days and weeks now, on Battlefields Official Facebook page, all Battlefield is saying is " We are aware of the concerns and are investigating. Please see this link for more info on upcoming fixes: http://ow.ly/qsdeR" . This is all we the players get in response. All of us feel that our concerns and problems have fallen on deaf ears. We want a finished game, not something that was packaged and shipped unfinished. DICE/EA should either listen to its customers and fix this game, or give us some sort of compensation for paying $60.00 to $120.00 for a game that does not work.

  • Protect PA's Endangered Species: Stop HB 1576
Rep. Mindy Fee is pushing a bill that will gut protections for endangered species in Pennsylvania – taking the decision about which species are endangered away from scientists and handing it directly to politicians. Her bill has the support of the oil, gas, and coal industry lobbyists. If those guys are on your side, it’s pretty clear that this bill is bad news for endangered species. Fee’s bill, HB 1576, is opposed by the scientists on the Pennsylvania Game Commission and the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. Many fisherman and hunters have also expressed strong opposition. In spite of this strong, evidence based opposition, HB 1576 already sailed though its first committee and is headed for the floor. We must stop HB 1576 from gutting the endangered species act before it gets any further.
