    A non-violent offender should be allowed to attend the funeral service's at the loss of their dearest love one (family) member. Because of the emotional and mental cruelty every one should be concerned. It should take priority. I have been emotionally affected by this issue.

Springfield lacks the leadership and political will to get this state in order and become economically competitive again. In order to pressure them to solve the pension crisis, all Illinois legislators' salaries, benefits and other perks should be frozen until they come up with a solution.

    According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in children, secondhand smoke causes the following: -Ear infections -More frequent and severe asthma attacks -Respiratory symptoms (e.g., coughing, sneezing, shortness of breath) -Respiratory infections (i.e., bronchitis, pneumonia) -A greater risk for sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) It's been banned in other state's and it needs to be banned in Illinois. It is banned in other states and should be banned in Illinois.

    New York is a horrible offender when it comes to plastic bag waste. We carelessly throw out 100,000 tons of plastic bags every year and pay other states to take our trash because there's nowhere for it to go. Our use of plastic bags in completely unsustainable and has to stop. It's time to follow San Francisco, L.A. and Seattle, and ban plastic bags in New York City forever.
