Expanding Social Security by $800 a month would help those who are disabled and unable to locate housing due to high cost of renting and waiting lists for housing, be able to afford a small rental on their own, thus improving housing for the disabled as well. Housing for disabled Americans is horrendous.

To resolve the gun problem, my answer is to repeal the 2nd amendment. It is not being enforced as was it's intention -- "militia". Also it was written 200 years ago when a rifle fired ONE bullet and took several minutes to reload. I believe guns only belong in the hands of law enforcement and the military. As far as hunting, I don't see how killing a helpless deer is a sport!

I paid off a student loan in December of 2001, which is still being sold too long companies for collections. I have sent letters that shell it has been paid that were written by the Department of Education, and when calling the Department of Education and when contacting department of Ed I I am turned it has been paid off. the loan was paid in 2001 and since then I have add wages garnished have been told to send 2 dollars or five dollars a month , have had my incm tax taken , and wages garnished

Several diseases are now rampant in Bureau of Land Management (BLM) wild horse holding facilities due to poor husbandry and overcrowding. Currently, none of the diseases is life threatening, but all of the diseases make the horses uncomfortable and can permanently disfigure the horses (papilloma virus creates bloody warts all over their faces), making their chances for adoption nil, and making them vulnerable to being sent to slaughter. In addition, the horses' hooves are not being trimmed. Some are in danger of being permanently lame from lack of trimming for over one year. Clearly space is currently limited, and conditions are untenable for removing any more animals from the range and placing them in the BLM wild horse warehouse system. My business will benefit from a centrally located ATM. The Economic Development Plan recommends installing an ATM at the Town Office as a way to support the local economy. Seasonal visitors don't realize there are no ATM's in town and many small businesses don't take credit cards. When vacationers don't bring cash or checks with them, they drive to Brunswick and many sales are lost.

This petition seeks to introduce some mom mom sense and much needed revenue to the Sunshine State by means of taxing an activity that the majority of the population of our state will engage in anyway.

I have not been personally affected but it shows a great deal of insensitivity towards women to put men in charge of the investigation. It is a great deal more difficult for women to talk to men about these issues then it is to women. Men can not relate to women in the same way a woman can. There is already a mistrust by women towards men due to theses bad experiences and now they are expected to tell MEN all about it. Two men in charge of the investigations have already been charged with sexual harassment at this point. Don't put the fox in charge of the hen house.

We all know someone who has been hurt by the decisions being made by insurance companies. When they deny or delay proceedures that physicians are telling their patients this is the only treatment that will help you, and they refuse to pay and make the insured person go through treatments that will not and do not work. It not only hurts the patient it hurts us all. As it turns out the insurance company then has to pay for the treatment prescribed by the doctor after the treatment the insurance company reccomends does not work. So we the people now have to pay higher premiums to cover their mistakes. So the people of the United States need to file a class action suit against the insurance industry for practicing medicine with out a license.

This Petition is about introducing some common sense to our Legal system. People's lives continue to be ruined for consuming a product that has been proven to be beneficial to humankind for thousands of years.

As it stands now, only veterans with a 100% rating, those who are the Chapter 31 training program, and those who have had service connected dental problems receive dental benefits. All veterans should have this benefit.

There are 200,000 rape evidence which have not been processed. Rapists are getting away with it , because our goverment will not fund the process.
