  • Big Money out of Politics
Big money is running our country. Our leaders are supposed to be for ALL the people--not special interest or lining their own pockets. Our money is to run the country, not to be given away in tax breaks for the unjust to help insure big money keeps rolling in.

  • Down with Leaf Blowers Up with Rakes
Leaf blowers are bad for our ears and bad for the ground. The dust that we breath from leaf blowers contains, toxins, pollens, fecal matter, particulates and more. The organic material that should be on the ground is now in our air, in our lungs, on our homes and on our cars.

  • Stop Collections Abuse!
Verizon sent me to collections for a bill that was not mine. They say I have NEVER had an account with them, but I still need to send them personal information. In the past year I have sent over a dozen documents from banks, utility companies to police reports of identity fraud and they refuse to take me off of collections.

  • Oppose the Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement
To be in opposition to a trade treaty being approved among USA and other western hemisphere countries, The Pan Pacific Partnership, that if implemented will result in less USA-based companies, less USA employees, and prevention, and if begun, destruction of native business development activities in the other countries. This treaty is being developed among all the--if approved--countries that will participate. There is no reporting by the standard media about this issue to the people to be affected. And, to underline, it is ongoing with the full cooperation of the Executive and Legislative Branches of the USA government.

  • President Obama: Lift the Travel Embargo on Cuba
The Embargo has been driven by a corrupt Cartel in Miami that profits from it secretly and which is made up of the remnants of the Batista Dictatorship that Fidel Castro overthrew. There are terrorist living in Miami who have killed dozens of innocent people and who have been given protection by members of Congress and past GOP Administrations.

  • Increase Allowable ($3000) Long-Term Capital (Schedule D) Losses That Can Be Declared Each Year O...
A maximum of $3000 can be declared in long-term capital losses each year on tax returns. Given downturns in the economy over the last decade or more, individuals were impacted and significant losses incurred in many cases. I personally carry a year to year long-term capital loss carryover. It will take me a number of years to reduce the declared loss carryover to zero given we are allowed a maximum of $3000 each year which we can declare and deduct. Raising this allowable annual limit will benefit seniors on fixed incomes (I draw the line at 65+ only because that is where I am at) and improve individual tax returns.
