  • Support The Bee Research and Discovery Center
Anyone who eats food knows that bees pollinate over 30% of the food we eat and 80 - 90% of flowering plants. Without bees pollinating our flowers you would never eat an apple or an orange again unless a human pollinated each flower individually.

  • SAVE THE AZUSA ADULT SCHOOL FROM CLOSING
Petition Background Adult Education plays a vital role in the Azusa community. Since 1928 the Azusa Adult School provides a wide range of learning opportunities that meet the needs of the community’s diverse population. In today’s suffering economy taking away these valuable educational opportunities and resources just doesn’t make any sense. Please add your name to the "SAVE THE AZUSA ADULT SCHOOL" petition. The adult education funding issue is bigger than Azusa and rebuilding a school system after it was shut down will be hugely expensive...

  • Making taxes fairer for us all.
We(the U.S. Citizens), should not have to pay taxes for everyone's company(or Business/Corporation). There are companies and shareholders around that do not pay any taxes, but we as citizen of this great land, have to pay taxes whenever we need something(Ex. candy, gum, water, services, shelter, auto, and everything else). We are also paying for the right of these companies to stay in business; while they(Business/Corporation owners) keep increasing the prices of their products (ie. gas and vegetables) saying that they are doing it because of taxes. I believe that if the businesses/corporations do not pay taxes, then we as citizens should not have to pay either.

  • Save the goats
Kaysville City wants us to get rid of our pigmy goats because we only have 18,600 square feet of property and the city ordinance requires 20,000 square feet to keep goats, sheep or llamas. Our goats are very friendly and they do not bother any of the neighbors, they all actually enjoy them. This needs to be stopped, the goats are a part of our family and they help us very much with our yard work, weeding.

  • Congress: Deny funding for private prisons!
Despite immigration reform efforts, private prison industry lobbyists have support in Congress for over $2 billion a year for massive incarceration of immigrants in private prisons. Immigrants arrested by the Border Patrol serve an average sentence of 360 days in a private prison for behaviors that weren’t considered crimes ten years ago. This is not o.k. Congress should refuse to finance private prisons with immigrant incarcerations.
